The company said the issue was technical in nature and all services were restored the same day. Spotify confirmed a temporary disruption to its service on Wednesday (16 April), following widespread reports from users unable to access the platform globally. More than 48,000 users reported problems on DownDetector, a real-time tracking site for service outages.
