Sunday Boredom Busters: March 30th
RAPID CITY, SD (KELO) — It's the final day of the Black Hills Home Show in Rapid City. The Home Show features more than 400 booths offering advice from industry experts as well as valuable resources for your next home project. It's taking place at The Monument from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is hosted by the Black Hills Home Builders Association.
The Premiere Playhouse presents William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The performance is at 2 p.m. in the Orpheum Theater Center in downtown Sioux Falls. Tickets are $35.
The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra presents its Spring Chamber Music Concert. The performance is at 1 p.m. in the Hamre Recital Hall on the Augustana University campus. Tickets are $10.
The Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $15.50 for adults, $11.50 for children and free for ages under two.
The Butterfly House & Aquarium in Sioux Falls is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $11 for children and free for ages under two.
Explore Sioux Falls and South Dakota history courtesy of Siouxland Heritage Museums. The Old Courthouse Museum located downtown and the Pettigrew Home and Museum, in the Cathedral District, are both open from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
Movies playing at the historic State Theater in downtown Sioux Falls include 9 to 5 and Brave, both rated PG, plus The Wolf of Wall Street, rated R.
The Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium at the Washington Pavilion features T-Rex, Mars: The Ultimate Voyage and 3-2-1 Liftoff.
New movie releases playing at a theater near you include The Woman in the Yard, rated PG-13 plus A Working Man and Death of a Unicorn, both rated R.
This is the final weekend of the Mash Madness drink competition in downtown Sioux Falls. Categories include craft beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverage creations at 29 participating businesses. Mash Madness ends Monday.
Enjoy more March Madness college basketball action on KELOLAND-TV. CBS Sports coverage begins at noon Central Time with Road to the Final Four. That's followed by regional finals games at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. KELOLAND Weekend News at 5:30 will air on KELOXTRA.
