False narrative
The Congress Party is once again searching for some false narrative to topple the ever growing popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP Party. This time the narrative seems to be 'Vote Fraud'.
The party feels that the recent election results have been rigged by the BJP and the Election Commission has been hand in glove with the BJP. It can be noted that all the previous narratives of 'Adani-Modi link,' 'Manipur Violence,' have all fizzled out and failed to strike a chord with the public.
This new 'Election Commission' issue also seems to be a vain attempt by the opposition, mainly led by a frustrated Congress Party. It is sad to note that the party is not able to pick up important issues like GDP growth, rising prices for the common man, etc., and bring the ruling government to focus on core issues. The lack of strong and constructive opposition is a sorry state of affairs in India. We hope that there emerges a credible and strong opposition soon to challenge the mighty BJP.
