ICMAI appoints Srinivasa Prasad as President, Joshi as VP for 2025-26 term
TCA Srinivasa Prasad has been elected as the President of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) for the council year 2025–26, a press statement by the institute said on Wednesday. Prasad has around 40 years' experience in finance, cost management, corporate social responsibility, and related fields. He was a Council Member of ICMAI during the 2011–2015 term and has been re-elected for the 2023–2027 term. ICMAI also elected cost accountant Neeraj D Joshi as the Vice President of the institute for 2025–26. Headquartered in New Delhi, ICMAI is a statutory body established under the Cost Accountants Act, 1959, and operates under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It has over 100,000 qualified cost and management accountants (CMAs) and 600,000 students.

All arrangements made for holding POLYCET on Wednesday
All necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of POLYCET-2025 in the district on April 30 (Wednesday). Principal of ESC Government Polytechnic in Nandyal V. S. V. Ch Srinivasa Prasad said the test will be conducted at 13 centres in Nandyal and 3,747 candidates have applied for it. He said the hall tickets are available on website and candidates can download hall tickets from it. Mr. Srinivasa Prasad said candidates whose hall tickets were not generated or facing issue with failure of payment can approach the nearest polytechnic college with their SSC hall ticket, POLYCET application forum, two passport size photographs for generating hall ticket. Mr. Srinivasa Prasad said candidates can seek clarifications on the test from G Suresh Babu on telephone number 9912377723 and G Vishnuvardhan Reddy on phone number 9603970847 or visit their nearest polytechnic college.
