Speaking at the Papar Pesta Kaamatan at Kampung Marahang, the Chief Minister said he approved the request by Limbahau Assemblyman Datuk Juil Nautim to build a new hall for the St Joseph Church. Advertisement He also approved a RM1 million allocation to upgrade the infrastructure around the Kampung Marahang multi-purpose hall. The Chief Minister, who is also Chairman of the Yayasan Sabah Board of Trustees, said he agreed to allocate part of the land belonging to Yayasan Sabah for the people in Kampung Gana and its vicinity. 'This is a government for all people of Sabah. We are fair to the rakyat of Sabah. 'We are not seeking self-praise but the proof is all there for everyone to see. We are bringing development not just for a certain segment of the people but to everyone irrespective of race and religion,' he said. Advertisement In this respect, he called upon the community development leader (PPM) to go to the ground and tell the people at the grassroots level what the Government has been doing. Hajiji said Pesta Kaamatan is a platform for the people to foster greater relationships among the multi-racial people in Sabah.
