Hospice secures new bus after Old Firm chaos in Glasgow
In the "deeply saddening" event, the staff and volunteers on the St Margaret of Scotland Hospice bus were left shaken after mobs surrounded the festive vehicle during shocking scenes which took place after Hampden's Celtic and Rangers Game on December 15, 2024.
The tradition normally gives them a chance to raise vital donations to keep their services running, with eye-watering targets of £40,000 per week.
However, due to safety reasons, they took the decision to ditch the event last year, 'hindering their crucial fundraising efforts'.

Sharing a statement on Facebook, the hospice said: "We are absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible response to our recent plea for help in finding a new Christmas Bus. The outpouring of support, suggestions, and shares from our amazing community has been truly heartwarming.
"Thanks to your incredible efforts, we are thrilled to announce that we have managed to secure a new Christmas Bus for this year's festivities. Your ideas, connections, and unwavering commitment to spreading the word have made this possible, and we could not be more grateful.
