Route 66 Neon Park open in St. Robert
ST. ROBERT, Mo. – There's a new roadside attraction in St. Robert! The Route 66 Neon Park is the first park dedicated to vintage neon lights in Missouri. It officially opened on Friday next to George M Reed Roadside Park in St. Robert. Mayor James Breckinridge says the sign park is a big attention-getter for the area. 'This will definitely draw a lot of attention and people are going to want to stop by and especially in the evening time frame,' said Breckinridge. St. Robert Walmart evacuated after fake number called threatening violence
ST. ROBERT, Mo. – City officials in St. Robert say a fake phone number called the local Walmart threatening violence. This prompted the store's evacuation on Saturday evening. According to a post on the city's Facebook page everyone inside the store was safely cleared from the premises. The post also mentioned that the call came from a fake internet-generated number. Law enforcement did a thorough sweep of the store as a precautionary measure.
