Route 66 Neon Park open in St. Robert
ST. ROBERT, Mo. – There's a new roadside attraction in St. Robert!
The Route 66 Neon Park is the first park dedicated to vintage neon lights in Missouri.
It officially opened on Friday next to George M Reed Roadside Park in St. Robert.
Mayor James Breckinridge says the sign park is a big attention-getter for the area.
'This will definitely draw a lot of attention and people are going to want to stop by and especially in the evening time frame,' said Breckinridge.
It's visible from parts of I-44 and commemorative Old Route 66 roadways.

Barry County business damaged after car crash
PURDY, Mo. — A business in Barry County has been damaged after a car crashed into the building on Friday, May 30. According to a Purdy Police Department social media post, Redshaw Auto Supply was damaged by a vehicle that struck into the auto parts store on Friday afternoon. Police say the vehicle was pulling into a parking spot and then accelerated into the building. Greenfield man dies in wreck on U.S. 160 No one was injured during the time of the crash, the post says. The veterans hall will be closed for months for a second time after the latest crash, according to CNN affiliate KCTV.
