Route 66 Neon Park open in St. Robert
ST. ROBERT, Mo. – There's a new roadside attraction in St. Robert!
The Route 66 Neon Park is the first park dedicated to vintage neon lights in Missouri.
It officially opened on Friday next to George M Reed Roadside Park in St. Robert.
Mayor James Breckinridge says the sign park is a big attention-getter for the area.
'This will definitely draw a lot of attention and people are going to want to stop by and especially in the evening time frame,' said Breckinridge.
It's visible from parts of I-44 and commemorative Old Route 66 roadways.

Barry County business damaged after car crash
PURDY, Mo. — A business in Barry County has been damaged after a car crashed into the building on Friday, May 30. According to a Purdy Police Department social media post, Redshaw Auto Supply was damaged by a vehicle that struck into the auto parts store on Friday afternoon. Police say the vehicle was pulling into a parking spot and then accelerated into the building. Greenfield man dies in wreck on U.S. 160 No one was injured during the time of the crash, the post says.
