PSG Manager Luis Enrique Gives Bold Two-Word Approach Against Liverpool
Paris Saint-Germain advanced past Stade Briochin with a 7-0 win to punch their ticket to the Coupe de France semifinal. Nonetheless, in the postgame reaction, manager Luis Enrique was asked about Liverpool. Championnat National 2 side Stade Briochin faced a tough challenge, conceding in the 16th minute. They held firm but couldn't keep PSG off the scoresheet, as Gonçalo Ramos doubled the lead. After halftime, PSG took full control, with Désiré Doué playing a key role in the scoring surge. Ramos converted a penalty to kickstart the second-half onslaught. Doué then found the net in the 55th minute before assisting goals from Ramos and Senny Mayulu. PSG didn't let up, with Ousmane Dembélé adding a fifth goal in the 66th minute. Enrique spoke to beIN Sports after the match, and while he talked about the lopsided win, the Spanish boss was asked about Liverpool. Moreover, he revealed the mindset that he wanted the squad to have when heading into this tie as Enrique wants PSG to give the Reds a 'hard time.' 'Well, if we look at Liverpool, which, in theory, is in a transition year, they have a top-level coach and are one of the best teams in Europe,' Enrique told the network (h/t Culture PSG). 'With their results, they are at the top of the standings, etc. But I believe we will be in the competition, and we will give them a hard time. The goal is to fight until the end.' The first leg will be next Wednesday, March 5, when PSG welcome Liverpool to the Parc des Princes. On March 11, the Parisians must travel to Anfield for the second leg.

Ramos hat-trick as PSG thrash Briochin 7-0 to reach French Cup semis
RENNES, France, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Paris St Germain's Goncalo Ramos scored a hat-trick to lead the French champions to a crushing 7-0 win over fourth-tier Stade Briochin in the Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday. Joao Neves opened the scoring after 16 minutes when he pounced on a rebound off the crossbar to score at the far post. Ramos doubled the lead in the 36th minute with a close-range finish from Senny Mayulu's cross. Ramos bagged his second from the penalty spot soon after the interval before setting up Desire Doue to make it 4-0. Doue set up the Portuguese striker for his third goal and the 19-year-old also teed up Mayulu up for the sixth. Substitute Ousmane Dembele struck a powerful shot to complete the rout five minutes from time, netting his first goal in the cup and 25th in all competitions this season. Second tier Dunkerque, who knocked out Lille on penalties in the previous round, secured their second big upset with a 3-2 win over Brest to reach the semis.

PSG receive favourable tie in Coupe de France quarter-final
Paris Saint-Germain once again secured a favourable draw in this year's Coupe de France. Luis Enrique's side will travel to face National 2 side Stae Briochin in the quarter-finals of the competition. There is a distinct lack of Ligue 1 sides in the draw. There have been plenty of upsets and the likes of Lille OSC and OGC Nice crashed out of the competition against lower-tier opposition in the Round of 16. It was N2 side Stade Briochin who beat Nice and their reward is a blockbuster tie against PSG. Meanwhile, Stade Brestois will face Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque, who beat Lille in a dramatic penalty shootout in the last round. AS Cannes will host Ligue 2 side EA Guingamp, who beat Toulouse FC, and SCO Angers, who beat RC Strasbourg Alsace will face either Bourgoin-Jallieu (N3) or Stade de Reims. Should Les Stadistes win their Round of 16 tie on Thursday night, they will set up the only all-Ligue 1 encounter.
