Stagecoach cancel bus services due to 'vandalism'

Stagecoach West cancelled two Glasgow bus services on Monday following a 'vandalism' incident. The X25 service scheduled to travel from St James Road to Abronhill at 8.15pm, and the 8.56pm service from Abronhill to Millcroft, have been cancelled following the incident. Those impacted by the cancellations have been urged to seek alternative routes or contact the travel operator. We've sadly had to cancel the following services today due to Vandalism. Glasgow bus services disrupted amid ongoing police incident

Stagecoach West Scotland said the B780 near Dalry in Ayrshire is currently shut. Cops revealed that the closure is in place in the area following a crash involving two vehicles. Officers said they were alerted to the incident shortly after 10am this morning (Wednesday, July 16). Due to the collision, Stagecoach said its X36 service, which runs from Dalry via Beith to Glasgow, is being diverted. Currently, it is unclear if anyone has been injured during the crash. A Stagecoach spokesperson said: "A police incident means B780 Dalry - Kilbirnie road is closed to traffic. "Services 25 and X36 will be going via Largs Road and B784 until the road reopens."
