Mrazova Placed On LTIR, Ottawa Signs House
The Ottawa Charge have announced that rookie forward Taylor House has been signed to a Standard Player Agreement (SPA), and that veteran forward Kateřina Mrázová has been placed on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) retroactive to Feb. 13. House started the season on the Charge's Reserve Player list, but she has played eight games in 2024-25. The Joliet, Illinois native was at the end of a 10-day SPA before signing a new contract. The former Quinnipiac University Bobcat will suit up again Wednesday when the Charge host the New York Sirens at TD Place as forward Rebecca Leslie suffered an upper-body injury in the third period of Saturday's 3-1 win against the Montréal Victoire. Leslie's injury is listed as day-to-day. Mrázová suffered an upper-body injury during an 8-3 win against the Minnesota Frost on February 13 and she has missed the last three Charge games. She would be eligible to return to play for the March 7 game in Raleigh against the same Minnesota Frost. The 32 year-old Czech center has contributed two goals and four assists for six points throughout the first 11 games of the PWHL season.

Boston Fleet Sign Jillian Dempsey To A Full Contract
The PWHL's Boston Fleet have signed forward Jillian Dempsey to a full Standard Player Agreement (SPA). Dempsey had previously been signed to a 10-day contract on Feb. 12. 'Before this league even existed, Jill Dempsey was a cornerstone of the hockey community in Boston—both on and off the ice,' said Boston Fleet General Manager Danielle Marmer. 'For this reason, it's a pleasure to call her up to a full SPA with the Boston Fleet. We've seen firsthand the impact she's had in practice and how she elevates our team when called upon, as she did during her 10-day stint. Her work ethic, attention to detail, and hockey IQ make us better, and we're excited to have her in the lineup.' Dempsey was called up from Boston's Reserve Player list ahead of the Fleet's Feb. 12 matchup against New York. Since then, the 34-year-old from Winthrop, MA, has played in four of the team's five games as the Fleet have earned 11 of 15 available points and have won a team-high three straight games. Last season, Dempsey was selected by Montréal in the eleventh round (66th overall) of the inaugural PWHL Draft. She played in all 24 regular season games and three playoff games with Montréal, earning a total of four points (1G, 3A). Prior to the PWHL, Dempsey was no stranger in Boston, winning three Isobel Cup titles and finishing as the PHF's all-time leading scorer with 146 points in 142 career games, all with the Boston Pride. 'I'm thrilled to sign a full Standard Player Agreement with the Boston Fleet,' said Dempsey. 'It has been so much fun playing in the last few games, and I can't wait to continue playing for my home city and the incredible Boston fans.' Next up for the Fleet is a Sunday afternoon battle at 4 p.m. ET at Buffalo's KeyBank Center against the Sirens in the sixth game of the PWHL Takeover Tour.

Victoire Sign Kelly-Ann Nadeau, Place Dubois On Injured Reserve
The Montréal Victoire have signed defender Kelly-Ann Nadeau to a Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) Standard Player Agreement (SPA). Nadeau started the season on the Victoire's Reserve Player list after receiving a training camp invite from the team. Last spring, the 26-year-old completed her collegiate career with the Université de Montréal Carabins, and she was named a U SPORTS Second Team All-Canadian as well as a First Team RSÉQ All-Star following the season. 'Kelly-Ann had a good training camp and she has kept working hard every day since the beginning of the season. She is often the last one to leave the ice following practice. We are looking forward to seeing her in a game, and we know that she is ready for this moment,' declared Victoire General Manager Danièle Sauvageau. The signing comes as the team places forward Catherine Dubois on long-term injured reserve (LTIR) after suffering an upper-body injury against New York on Feb. 2.

Dempsey Set To Make Long Awaited Return To Boston
Earlier today the Boston Fleet announced that Hannah Bilka has been placed on long-term injured reserve (LTIR). As a result forward Jillian Dempsey has been signed to a 10-day Standard Player Agreement (SPA) and will make her long awaited return to Boston. This news comes after Bilka suffered a lower-body injury in the Rivalry Series. The PWHL rookie represented Team USA against Canada, and has had a good start to her season. Bilka has nine points through 13 games, and is playing on the top line for the Fleet with league leaders like Hillary Knight. Dempsey is getting a chance to prove herself tonight, as she leaves the Fleet's Reserve Player list and gets her first start this season. Dempsey played all of last season with Montreal, before being signed to the Reserve Player list for the Fleet this season. She spent her entire career, both collegiately and professionally in Boston prior to next season. This news came ahead of the Fleet game tonight against the New York Sirens. The Fleet are undefeated against the Sirens and are looking to continue that streak. New York and Boston will play three games in 12 days against one another after returning from the International Break. Fleet Head Coach Courtney Kessel is prepared for the matchup, she said, 'coming back from the international break, it's all about staying disciplined, winning battles along the boards and executing on special teams. Especially during our stretch here on the road, we need to control the pace, keep things simple, and play a full 60 minutes.' The two teams are currently ranked fourth (Sirens) and fifth (Fleet) in the league. The Sirens have 20 points and the Fleet have 17 points and are tied for sixth with the Ottawa Charge. Tonights game is a must-win for the Fleet if they want to stay out of last place. It also is the 45th game of the 2024-25 regular season, marking the officially halfway point of the season. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. ET at the Prudential Center in New York.
