It is important to note that all entertainment during Star-Spangled Nights is weather permitting and subject to change and select rides may be scheduled to close early to prepare for the fireworks. Kings Island will have fireworks on both July 4 and July 5. The fireworks start at 10 p.m., according to the website. Kings Island is located in Mason, Ohio, about 130 miles away from Indianapolis or about a two-hour (sometimes longer, depending on traffic) drive.
