May the 4th be with you: The best Star Wars Day 2025 deals and new products
My favorite unofficial holiday is almost here! May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, is a celebration of all things from a galaxy far, far away. As an editor who has been fawning over Star Wars for nearly her entire life, I am so excited to be rounding up all the best deals and new product launches, many of which I will be shopping myself. This year's Star Wars Day is extra special because it coincides with the 20th anniversary of 2005's 'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.' It's my favorite flick from the franchise, so these deals may be a bit biased to include some Episode III offerings. But even if you prefer the Original Trilogy, one thing you can count on is that these are the best May the 4th deals to shop this year. Ahead of May 4, many of the deals and new launches are already live. There's sure to be more this weekend, but you can get a head start now. I'll update this story for the next several days, so keep checking back for the latest offers. Take it from one Star Wars fan to another and dive in, below. Retailers including Amazon, Lego, Target and Walmart are getting in on the Star Wars Day action. If you're looking for all the different sales in one place, these are the best. Amazon Star Wars Day Sale Save on everything from DVDs to electronic lightsabers and so much more. Amazon also has many of the new product launches for May the 4th on its digital shelves. Lego Star Wars Day Sale Lego has a collection of new sets out today and is also running a double reward points promotion on top of offering cash discounts on older kits. Save on X-Wings, Clone troopers and more. Target Star Wars Day Sale Deals and new product launches are live at Target for Star Wars Day. Save through the end of the weekend on home decor, apparel and so much more. Walmart Star Wars Day Sale Toys, collectibles and apparel are all on sale through the weekend. Many of the new product launches for May the 4th can also be found at Walmart. Each time I get on a video call with a new coworker, we always spend the first half hour talking about every little collectible stationed on the massive shelf behind me, especially the majority that are Lego Star Wars kits. Luckily, the biggest sale of the year on Lego kits from the Star Wars universe is live for May the 4th. Below, you'll find deals on many of the sets I own. This scaled-down starfighter is the perfect build to rest on your desk for showing off some Star Wars fandom. It's one of my favorite ships in the Star Wars universe and makes for a great Lego build. Lego The Mandalorian Helmet Lego's buildable helmet series assemble display-worthy builds, and this chromed kit of The Mandalorian is no exception. It rests on a black base with a name plate for adding to your collection or displaying on its own. Lego Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter Lego is releasing a new version of Jango Fett's ship, and this discounted Jedi Starfighter goes perfectly with it. Lego Midi-Scale Tantive IV Another entry in Lego's Midi-Scale collection, this ship lets you bring a piece of the opening scene of "A New Hope" to anywhere that could use a little extra fun. Lego 'A New Hope' Boarding The Tantive IV Speaking of the Tantive IV, this diorama-style kit stacks up to recreate the tense scene that introduced the world to Darth Vader. Lego Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor Set I recently picked this set up when it first hit store shelves in January. While I have many of the kits in this guide, there's a special place in my heart (and my collection) for these Jedi Interceptors inspired by "Revenge of the Sith." This year's is the first recreation of Jango Fett's ship since all the way back in 2022. I'll be buying this kit for myself. Lego Buildable Chopper Astromech Droid Set To go alongside the discounted R2-D2 listed earlier in this guide, the buildable Lego Chopper is hitting the scene for the first time this Star Wars Day. Lego Rebel U-Wing Starfighter Set I am obsessed with "Andor" right now, and this set gives builders a chance to assemble the titular rebel alongside some other all-new minifigures. K-2SO is also back in Lego form for the first time in ages. Lego Revenge of the Sith Heroes & Villains BrickHeadz Another Lego tradition for May the 4th, the company launches a pack of BrickHeadz themed around a certain film in the franchise. This year, "Revenge of the Sith" is getting some love with five brick-built recreations of the movie's heroes and villains. Lego Buildable K-2SO Security Droid On top of his minifigure appearance in the U-Wing set, K-2SO is also getting a buildable character kit. This one is roughly the same scale as R2 and Chopper, so all three will look great on display next to each other. Lego Jango Fett Helmet Lego's helmet series make great display pieces, and this Jango Fett version is no exception. Find it at Lego, Amazon and Target. Lego Brick-Built Star Wars Logo This might be the most odd Lego set we've seen in ages, but there's certainly some charm to a brick-built Star Wars logo. I won't spoil the fun, but there's a reference to "A New Hope" to be discovered as part of the assembly process. Lego Kylo Ren Helmet It's rare to get a Lego Star Wars set from the Sequel Trilogy. But for May the 4th and the tenth anniversary of "A Force Awakens," this new Kylo Ren helmet is hitting store shelves. Hot Toys Sixth Scale K-2SO I have a few Hot Toys in my collection, and they're some of the coolest figures you can buy. This year's Star Wars Day event introduces a new K-2SO to celebrate May the 4th. Whether you're looking to buy physical copies of the Skywalker Saga or dive into one of the latest Star Wars video games, there are deals to shop. I also found quite a few new product releases in the world of tech, including droid-inspired iPhone 16 cases, earbuds and an Echo Dot stand. I expect to see more deals trickle in through the weekend as May the 4th gets closer, but there are still some notable discounts to peruse ahead of time. New releasesHoth Echo Base Baseball Jersey I picked up one of these jerseys and am shocked by how good the quality is. It feels like an official jersey from the MLB shop. The sizing is a little big, so I would order a size down from what you'd normally wear. The sizing is a little big, so I would order a size down from what you'd normally wear. Loungefly Hoth Mini Backpack Loungefly bags are super popular across all fandoms, but this Hoth-inspired backpack is just for fans of "The Empire Strikes Back." I love the light blue color scheme and the prominent AT-AT design on the lower pocket. There are always some Star Wars deals floating around the web, but it's not every day that this many discounts are live at once. May the 4th, being Star Wars Day, is the best chance to save on everything from toys and collectibles to apparel, DVDs and more. ‘Sinners' Wins Weekend Box Office In Stunning 10% Drop And $45 Million
It's another expectation-shattering performance for writer-director Ryan Coogler's Sinners, as the film dominates the domestic weekend box office with a stunning 10% drop from last weekend and nearly $45 million in receipts. Michael B. Jordan stars in "Sinners." Source: Warner Michael B. Jordan does double-duty in lead roles as twin brothers in Coogler's original horror-action blockbuster. Can we call Sinners a blockbuster yet? We sure can, with these types of overperformances and record-breaking holds, it should land around $170 million worldwide – with an impressive $120+ million domestic – if not higher by close of business Sunday, and I'm probably being conservative in these estimates at this point. I won't be shocked at all if the film beats even today's impressive estimates both domestically and internationally. It is entirely possible at this point that we could see a final cume of around $180 million when the dust settles. Alternately, if Sinners' must-see foot traffic is front-loaded, it might wind up settling closer to $165-170 million range. We need to see how much the positive word-of-mouth and reviews, combined with news of box office overperformance, drives international viewership this weekend. Meanwhile, runner-up The Accountant 2 is enjoying $25 million at the higher end of estimates and tops the original film's debut, in a tale of sinners turned saints who use their extraordinary brotherly killing abilities for good. Bad-a__ brothers facing overwhelming odds in an original action-driven moderately-budgeted story? Yes please, say audiences remembering why they love going to the movies. Yet despite Sinners taking such a huge lead for the weekend, and The Accountant 2 offering up a high-end outcome, the other weekend top contenders didn't suffer as a result after all. The Minecraft Movie is still on course for north of $20 million, while Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith appears poised to take third place with $22 million. The return of Star Wars to the big screen, just as Andor season 2 arrives on Disney+ with historic critical acclaim and amid a 'rising tide lifts all boats' situation in theaters proves to be a nice bonus for Disney, ahead of their summer tentpoles and in the aftermath of Captain America: Brave New World's disappointing $414 million result. Sinners seems to have stirred so much audience interest and passion at just the right time, when Minecraft was generating buzz and turnout typical of a summer IP release and warming weather. School vacations and a dearth of much else to be enthusiastic about in the world lately – economics, politics, climate, you name it and we've got it turned up to 11 these days – makes the escapism of cinema much more appealing. That the multiplexes are also seeing less inflationary pressure on ticket prices compared to other entertainment options makes theaters the relatively less expensive go-to option these days, especially with streaming costs themselves rising and driving home entertainment costs high enough that cinemas are no longer being out-priced. But none of that matters without Sinners being an exceptional film that delivers powerfully on the promise of its premise, with a terrific cast led by Jordan's star power and Coogler's directorial fame. The deeper themes about race and history and culture, as well as the sheer terror and excitement, all feed audiences craving to confront our demons and fears, but in a safe imaginary setting – all the more important when those fears increasingly stalk the daytime for so many people. What's happening isn't merely a convenient convergence of external factors and motivators, but specifically that art is calling out to the public the way it always does during important moments in history and during shared times of struggle and uncertainty and change. Sinners is the movie we needed, when we needed it. That's what happened. It spoke to something important and powerful within people everywhere, and that message is spreading so much that people are flocking to see it. So I think the combination of Sinners and The Minecraft Movie has helped buoy cinema higher and is driving traffic to other films as well. Which isn't just good news for the close of spring at the multiplexes, but great news heading into summer. 2025 was destined to be a weak year at the box office, and a lot of major projects were pulled from the release schedule or shuffled to safer calendar dates. But now, with a nice bit of positive momentum heading into the opening salvo of summer from Marvel with Thunderbolts*, and with some heavy-hitters waiting to take flight in coming weeks and months, spring's Sinner sanctuary could also wind up helping summer's salvation. Sinners and the rest of this weekend's top performers will soon face tough competition when Thunderbolts* arrives next weekend to kick off the summer movie season. But if this weekend is any indication, we should expect Thunderbolts* to play at the better end of expectations while Sinners and The Accountant hold strong, Minecraft enjoys a soft fall, and attendance helps turn the first week of summer 2025 into a healthy one for the box office. Studios could all use that sort of good news, and good omens for the rest of summer movie season. Fingers crossed!

Hayden Christensen is ready for the 20th anniversary release of : Episode III — Revenge of the Sith, celebrating the movie's rerelease in a hilarious new video. In a new video shared to the Star Wars social media channels, Hayden Christensen can be seen getting a ticket to the movie at Hollywood's The El Capitan Theatre. When asked what movie he's seeing, the camera cuts to Christensen taking a sip out of a Darth Vader cup while holding a commemorative bucket of popcorn. In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith will be heading back to theaters for one week only in U.S. theaters and select international territories, starting on April 25. In addition, during its limited run, the film will also be shown in 4DX for the first time. Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker back for Season 2 of Ahsoka
Hayden Christensen is set to return as Anakin Skywalker, a jedi who will turn into the evil Darth Vader, for the second season of , reports The Hollywood Reporter . His return was announced at a Star Wars Day celebration in Tokyo, Japan. The actor initially played the role in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith . The first season, set after the fall of the Empire, followed Ahsoka as she investigates a new threat to the galaxy. With Admiral Thrawn rising, she reunites with her former apprentice, Sabine Wren. With Ahsoka is created by Dave Filoni, who serves as the head writer and a director on the series. Other directors on the series include Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa. Filoni is also an executive producer on the series with Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is a co-executive producer on the series which is backed by Lucasfilm. Season one of Ahsoka is currently streaming on JioHotstar. Production on the second season is set to start next week.

Michigan Star Wars fans will soon get another chance to experience "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith" in theaters as the film makes a limited comeback this spring for its 20th anniversary. The film is set to be re-released in theaters for a week in April, according to "Anakin Skywalker is about to bring peace, freedom, justice, and security to his new Empire on the big screen," wrote on the film's upcoming re-release. Here's what to know. "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith," also is known as Episode III — the final film in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. The movie follows the fall of the Jedi Order, with characters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Master Yoda in hiding and the ensuing battles for control of the galaxy. The film stars Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Samuel L. Jackson and others under the direction of Star Wars creator George Lucas. The 2-hour, 20-minute movie grossed $850 million worldwide, according to IMDB, including $380 million in the U.S. It has a $110 million budget.
