Thoothukudi dog squad secures third prize in state-level efficiency competition
Thoothukudi District dog squad secured third place in the State Level Police Efficiency Competition.
The State-level efficiency competition was held at Avadi Battalion in Chennai from July 28 to August 2. The events included contests for the Dog Squad, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), and the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) divisions.
In the Crime Tracking competition of the dog squad category, the Thoothukudi District Police Dog Squad along with sniffer dog Juno, demonstrated exceptional skills and secured third place, winning the bronze medal.
Recognising the achievement, Thoothukudi Superintendent of Police Albert John, visited the sniffer dog Juno and congratulated the officers for their dedicated training and successful performance in the competition.
