Fun With Kids: Bouncy playgrounds at Marina Square, Suntec City; Stem Fest with mentoring for girls
SINGAPORE – Make family time all the more special with these ideas and activities.
Reimagined Dragon playground at Marina Square
Three iconic Singapore playgrounds built in the 1970s and 1980s – fondly known as the Dragon, Pelican and Elephant – have been reimagined as giant inflatables at Marina Square's central atrium.
Until June 22, navigate a circular maze inspired by the Pelican and hop over to the Elephant to enjoy a ball pit. Then glide down an 8m-high, 14m-long Dragon-themed inflatable slide, the largest and tallest of the play structures there.
These heritage-themed inflatables are the creations of Airpark, a local company specialising in inflatable playgrounds.
Adults and children from four years old require play passes, which cost $10 for a 30-minute session or $6 for the first 2,500 Marina Square Rewards members. Find out more at

Want even more bouncing fun? Suntec City is hosting its largest school holiday pop-up playground yet.
In partnership with Kiztopia, a Singapore brand synonymous with indoor playgrounds, your kids can enjoy a 15m-long inflatable play space in the mall's atrium between Towers 1 and 2.
Jumptopia Lite: Bounce Beyond is open until June 29 and comprises a massive ball pit, almost 7m-tall slides, climbing walls and tunnels. You will also spot large inflatables of Kiztopia's mascots Bell the bear, Happy the hippo and Raby the rabbit.
Tickets are required for adults and children aged 12 months old and above, and cost $15 for a 30-minute play session. Discounts are available for Suntec+ members, as well as DBS and POSB cardholders. Go to for details.

If you have a daughter aged 13 and above, encourage her interest in Stem (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and expose her to emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics and cyber security.
Join the fourth annual edition of Stem Fest on July 5 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre. This free event aims to inspire young women to explore careers in Stem fields, which have traditionally been male-dominated. The initiative is integral to the Girls2Pioneers programme, spearheaded by United Women Singapore (UWS), a non-profit which champions gender equality.
The entire family can check out interactive booths showcasing the latest products and services by participating organisations, while female students can participate in speed mentoring sessions and Stem workshops led by professionals.
