A-lister's alcohol side hustle in turmoil after boss accused of lavish spending
The boardroom at Eva Longoria 's tequila brand is on the rocks — and not in a cocktail kind of way.
Casa Del Sol — the actor's brand with bottles priced between $60 and $200 — has lost its CEO amid swirling allegations of his financial misconduct.
Steph Sebbag, who served as the CEO for three years, recently stepped down. But multiple sources tell the Daily Mail his exit wasn't voluntary.
While Longoria is the face of the brand and remains tied to its image, she is not accused of any wrongdoing.
Sebbag is the subject of an internal investigation over his spending, according to a source familiar with the matter and representatives for Casa Del Sol.
'He has personal expenses and trips all being paid from Casa money,' a source familiar with the matter, who was granted anonymity due to concerns about job security, told the Daily Mail. 'It's ridiculous.'
According to the allegations, Sebbag used company funds to bankroll luxury travel — including trips on private jets to five-star hotels in Aspen, Miami, Hawaii, and Europe — and spent $200,000 two summers in a row to rent a house in the Hamptons.
'While the investigation is ongoing, we are treating this with the utmost seriousness it deserves,' Andrew Bochner, the lawyer representing Casa Del Sol, told the Daily Mail.
'The Company is exploring all available options, including potential legal and financial remedies, and intends to respond through the appropriate channels.
'This matter involves the actions of one individual and does not reflect the values, character, or conduct of the shareholders and its team.'
A spokesperson for Casa Del Sol said the board is 'deeply disappointed' about the alleged revalations.
Sebbag, however, tells a different story.
In a phone interview and email exchanges with the Daily Mail, the former executive denied the allegations, saying he resigned in May to help the company cut costs — not because of an internal probe.
He maintains that he invested his own money into the brand, rather than abusing its accounts.
'Absolutely false allegations,' Sebbag said, adding that he remains a shareholder and member of the company's board.
'I made the strategic decision to resign as CEO of Casa Del Sol in response to the prevailing circumstances surrounding the company.
Casa Del Sol has had star-studded parties, including with social media star Alix Earle

Sources familiar with the internal investigation claimed the former CEO bankrolled luxury trips - he denies these allegations
'It is important to acknowledge that there was a failure to align on expectations, which contributed to some ambiguity regarding our strategic objectives.'
Since the Daily Mail reached out, Sebbag has deleted his LinkedIn profile.
The former CEO and Longoria, 50, first launched the Casa Del Sol brand in 2021: its success is part of what made the Desperate Housewives actor a fixture in the C-Suite.
'It is always my mission to uplift the voices of women and celebrate my Mexican heritage, so that others may be inspired by the limitless genius and artistry that is rich in our communities,' she wrote on the brand's website.
She has also built a multi-hyphenite business empire that includes a production company, a clothing line, and her own line of cookware.
Longoria also enjoyed runs on the box and silver screens, with , Dora and the Lost City of Gold, and the soap opera The Young and the Restless.
