General Hospital star Steve Burton's ex-wife accuses him of 'harassing' her... JUST weeks after he remarried

Steve Burton is facing accusations of harassment from his ex-wife, Sheree Gustin. The General Hospital actor's former spouse, 48, claimed he has sent her excessive messages about custody arrangements concerning their minor daughter, Brooklyn. Gustin's allegation comes after Burton claimed she was making it difficult for him to maintain visitation with Brooklyn, despite their shared custody agreement. 'In the past few months, [Steve] has started to message me and accuse me of parental alienation if he cannot get ahold of Brooklyn,' Sheree alleged in court documents, obtained by In Touch. 'His messages are almost daily and are harassing.' Responding to the filing, Burton's attorney, Sarah C Clark, told Us Weekly: 'Steve maintains that Sheree's allegations are categorically false. He has, and will continue to, act in the best interests of the parties' daughter, Brooklyn, which includes ensuring there is frequent and continuing contact with both parents.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She continued, 'On May 12, 2025, the Court heard the evidence loud and clear and granted Steve additional custodial time with Brooklyn that Sheree was unwilling to provide.' Earlier, Steve submitted a claim stating that Gustin was interfering with his ability to see Brooklyn. He also alleged that Gustin has repeatedly disrespected his wife Michelle Lundstrom, who he married earlier this month. 'Sheree has seemingly forgotten how our family ended up in this situation. It was Sheree who had an extramarital affair, became pregnant with another man's child and immediately moved him into her home after our separation, without informing me she would be doing so,' Steve claimed in the court documents. He added: 'Early on in my relationship with Michelle, Sheree began to refuse to call Michelle by her name and instead referred to her as "the girl" in an effort to downplay her role in my life. In one text message exchange, Sheree stated, in part, as follows, "Michelle is not your family or our kids" family lol. She is your girlfriend.' 'Sheree made it clear to me that she did not want Brooklyn to spend time with me if Michelle or her daughters were present,' Steve claimed. 'When Michelle and her daughters were in town Sheree would make it difficult for me to exercise custodial time with Brooklyn when I was in California. All of my requests were met with resistance. Sheree would tell me my requested time did not work or they were busy, despite providing her with ample notice.' Steve filed for divorce in July 2022 after two decades of marriage. The split came a few months after they publicly announced their separation and that Sheree was expecting a child with another man. An Orange County Superior Court judge ordered the M3 fitness trainer to pay his ex-wife $10K/month in child support for co-parenting their only underage child, 10-year-old daughter Brooklyn. In May, he and Lundstrom tied the knot at Orthodox church in Laguna Beach, California. 'This day isn't just about a ceremony. It's the beginning of forever with the love of my life,' Burton told People. 'Honestly, I've never felt so loved and cared for in my entire life. I'm incredibly grateful to have her by my side. She is the most amazing, beautiful, and selfless woman I've ever known. I love her so much.' Michelle and Burton were only engaged for four months before their intimate nuptials, and he 'proved that fairy tale love truly exists.' 'He's like pure sunshine — always uplifting, endlessly caring. His love makes me a better person every single day,' Lundstrom gushed. 'To have the most incredible man I've ever known by my side forever brings me so much peace and happiness. He is the love of my life, and I feel so blessed to call him mine.' The two-time Daytime Emmy winner invited 45 guests to their seaside reception and candlelight dinner at Montage Laguna Beach, including his General Hospital castmates Jonathan Jackson and Lisa Vultaggio. Steve's three children - daughter Makena, 21; son Jack, 19; and daughter Brooklyn, 10 - with ex-wife Sheree Amador were in the wedding party as were Michelle's two daughters - Lilah, 14; and Hannah, 10 - from a prior relationship. The newlyweds went on to honeymoon in Maui following their 'dream-like celebration filled with so much love.' Steve has portrayed Jason Morgan on/off between 1991-2012 and 2017-2021 and 2024-2025 on long-running soap opera General Hospital, which airs weekdays on ABC. Michelle is a full-blown influencer, frequently sharing recipes and doing paid partnerships for brands like Drip EZ, Hal's New York, and Good Culture. In 2023, Lundstrom was the fifth contestant eliminated off the second season of Netflix competition Barbecue Showdown, which was won by Iowa pitmaster Thyron Mathews.

Patriots OTA takeaways: Mike Vrabel's energy is everywhere

Mike Vrabel's presence is already being felt in New England after just a few days of Patriots organized team activities in Foxboro. Vrabel and his infectious energy were everywhere during last week's OTA sessions behind Gillette Stadium, and included the coach putting on a practice jersey and taking part in some drills. The vibe Vrabel has brought to the Patriots has just a lot of fans feeling loads of positivity about the 2025 New England Patriots. ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss joined Steve Burton on Sunday night's Sports Final on WBZ-TV, and while he said it's still very early in the process, the signs are promising in Foxboro. "I'm feeling energy around the team. Practice is organized, there's music playing the whole time. It feels to me that the arrow is pointing up a bit," said Reiss. "Four wins last season, four wins the season before – it feels they're going to be coming up from that. How high up they can get, I don't know. But I feels to me they're heading in the right direction." Attendance was near perfect for the voluntary portion of OTAs, a sign that players are eager to get to work under Vrabel and his new staff. The Patriots will have three more OTA sessions this week (May 27-28, 30) and three more next week (June 2-3, 5) before mandatory minicamp runs from June 9-11. Here are some other takeaways and observations from Reiss from last week's OTAs, and some thoughts about the Patriots going forward. Don't worry about Drake Maye's practice interceptions Reporters were on hand for last Tuesday's OTA in Foxboro, and Maye struggled early in the session with four interceptions on his first six throws during 11-on-11 drills. He bounced back and looked better the rest of the way, but those four interceptions got a lot of attention. Reiss echoed what many have said since that practice, urging fans not to worry too much about the quartet of picks. "Sometimes an interception isn't always on the quarterback, but he threw four picks. Ultimately, is it a big deal in a May practice? I don't think it's a big deal. Sometimes in practice you try some things and see what works. But you hate throwing picks," said Reiss. "People who know more than me tell me not to worry about the picks in a May practice. It's more how he's playing with those around him, how Vrabel and [offensive coordinator] Josh McDaniels are coaching him and immersing him in this new system." Reiss said that Maye and McDaniels seem inseparable on the sidelines. "The coaching is on point. Every play, he's getting [coaching]. The system puts a lot on the quarterback and I think Drake is getting accustomed to it. I think he likes it. The early signs are promising in that regard," said Reiss. The Patriots defense is loaded While there is a lot of hope for the offense with Maye and McDaniels, it looks like the sky is the limit for the New England defense under Vrabel. Reiss sees a lot of talent in the secondary, along the defensive line, and everywhere in between. It starts with third-year corner Christian Gonzalez, who is poised for an even bigger season after earning Second-Team All Pro honors in 2024. "He was working with Pilates in the offseason and he looks stronger to me and is moving really well," Reiss said of Gonzalez. "Maybe a chance to take his game to a higher level." The Patriots signed veteran corner Carlton Davis to play opposite of Gonzalez, giving the team a solid 1-2 punch at corner. But Reiss is even more eager to see the guys in the trenches get to work for Vrabel. "Then you look at defensive tackle, Christian Barmore looks good. Milton Williams was their big signing. Those are four really good pieces to beef up the defense," said Reiss. Reiss also touched on how New England's top three draft picks looked in practice, and Harold Landry's interest approach in the pass rush. Hear all of Reiss' takeaways in the video above and tune in to Sports Final every Sunday night at 11:35 p.m. on WBZ-TV!

The Golden State Valkyries picked up the first win in franchise history — all thanks to Newton's Veronica Burton

Burton has good reason to. The Newton native — daughter of WBZ's Steve Burton and sister to Kayla on NBC Sports Boston — almost didn't have a spot on the Valkyries roster. Burton, who played in college at Northwestern and was drafted by Dallas in 2022, was cut by the Wings before the 2024 season. Advertisement The former Newton South star found a home with the Connecticut Sun midway through last season, and stuck around for the playoffs, averaging nearly 5 points in 19.3 minutes per game en route to the conference finals. She spent the winter playing in Australia, then was chosen in December's expansion draft by the Valkyries (1-1). And on Wednesday at the Chase Center, she recorded a career-high 22 points, to go with nine rebounds and five assists. Kayla Thornton converted a four-point play with 1:03 left and scored 18 points for the Valkyries, cheered on by a dancing Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski among the raucous sellout crowd. Streamers rained down after the final buzzer sounded. Sonia Citron's 3 for Washington with 5 seconds left made it interesting. Advertisement Brittney Sykes scored 30 points and converted two free throws with 1:58 to play to put Washington ahead but the Valkyries knocked down all the big shots in the closing minutes after losing guard Tiffany Hayes to a nose injury late in the first half. Burton banked in a Stephen Curry-like long 3-pointer to beat the halftime horn and put Golden State ahead 31-30 at the break. Janelle Salaun scored 10 points and grabbed a key rebound in the waning moments while making her WNBA debut fresh off an Italian League title and Finals MVP honors for Beretta Famila Schio. Her 3-pointer with 2:07 in the first half was the team's first after 17 misses from deep to start the game. Hayes was helped off the court late in the second quarter and didn't return after taking an arm to the face from Washington's Shakira Austin and going down for several minutes. She gave a thumbs up after she was helped off the court and went to the locker room with a towel pressed to her face. Golden State, beginning its first season and playing at Chase Center that's also home to the NBA Warriors, finished just 7 of 37 from long range. Washington visits the Las Vegas Aces on Friday. The Valkyries begin their inaugural three-game road trip beginning Friday at the Los Angeles Sparks, who beat Golden State in its opener last Friday.
