Tranont's Customer Success Team wins Bronze for Department of the Year; Loni Smith wins Bronze for Customer Service Training Professional of the Year LEHI, Utah, April 16, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tranont won two Bronze Stevie Awards in the 19th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. Tranont's Customer Success Department was recognized for the Customer Service Department of the Year - Consumer Products & Services category. Loni Smith, customer success training manager, won a Customer Service Training Professional of the Year award. The 24-member Tranont Customer Success Team supports customers and more than 35,000 Tranont associates worldwide. Over the past year, the team has implemented new training and incentive programs, along with new chat and phone platforms, to better handle customer inquiries. The team also utilized customer feedback initiatives to gather insights and significantly improve its processes. With the new call system, phone support satisfaction increased to 4.9 out of 5. The team reduced the average handling time to three minutes. Tranont also achieved an A rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Stevie judges noted the team's focus on the "three pillars of a successful CX department: TALENT, TECH, and DATA" and how the team showed "excellence in transformation and execution, backed by robust metrics and compelling feedback from both customers and employees." Including the program's employee feedback impressed judges because "employee satisfaction correlates with customer success." Loni Smith played a pivotal role in this success by implementing a strategy she devised over a year to prioritize customer interactions over transactions, focusing on relationship-building. The plan involved a comprehensive training program, implementation of new communication channels, performance-based incentives and more. In addition to contributing to the high customer service scores with the team, Smith's plan contributed to the department's cost efficiency. While the company has grown year over year, the team has improved KPIs, increased output and been under budget. The ticket rate per staff member increased by almost 40%. Stevie judges praised Smith as a "strong representative of Tranont" and a "great manager" whose "seamless strategy" drove "very positive results and huge improvements."
