Stockify scales digital infrastructure for retail access to India's fintech marketplace

New Delhi, 28 July 2025 — As India's fintech sector enters a new phase of maturity, digital investment platform Stockify today announced a major expansion in its services—enabling retail and NRI investors to participate in the unlisted equity and pre-IPO space through a technology-led, cloud driven compliance-ready infrastructure. The company projects it will serve over 3,500 investors across India, the UAE, UK, and US by the end of fintech market, expected to reach $1.5 trillion in market size by 2030 (Inc42, 2024), is increasingly defined by platforms that go beyond digital payments—moving toward capital market inclusion, AI & data-driven investment ecosystems, and intelligent product design. 'Fintech 1.0 in India was about financial access—UPI, Aadhaar KYC, and Jan Dhan drove massive inclusion,' said Piyush Jhunjhunwala, Co-founder and CEO of Stockify. 'Now, Fintech 2.0 is about wealth inclusion—enabling investors, not just consumers, to access smarter financial products through secure, transparent, and regulated platforms.' The unlisted and pre-IPO investment segment has traditionally been opaque, fragmented, and limited to institutional capital and informal broker channels. The platform is cloud-native, API-integrated with compliance modules, and designed to handle increasing transaction complexity as the segment scales. This shift comes amid growing interest in alternative assets. According to a 2025 Deloitte report on Indian capital markets, over 34% of Gen Z and millennial investors are now actively exploring private market opportunities beyond listed equities and mutual funds. This rising sophistication is prompting wealth-tech platforms to rethink UI/UX design, regulatory onboarding, and the use of AI in investor profiling and risk mapping. With cloud-based deployment, real-time data feeds, and structured investment lifecycle management, the company has scaled the architecture and has announced to invest in mature enterprise-grade platforms to solve financial democratization. As India's regulatory framework for unlisted securities continues to evolve, enterprise-aligned fintechs are emerging as essential enablers in the transition from retail interest to informed capital participation. Stockify's announcement reflects the maturing intersection of regulatory tech ( RegTech ), investment automation, and digital capital formation—a growing area of focus for enterprise leaders shaping future-ready financial systems.
