Demi Lovato and Jordan ‘Jutes' Lutes Wed at a Historic Santa Barbara Estate—but Their Modern Farmhouse Is Just as Spectacular
Actress and pop star Demi Lovato has added 'newlywed' to her list of titles after tying the knot with artist Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in a stunning ceremony at a Santa Barbara, CA, estate this past weekend. The 'Stone Cold' songstress, 32, and her 34-year-old songwriter beau wed in an intimate event held at the Bellosguardo Estate, an enormous property that was built by the widow of a copper mogul in 1937, and now serves as a local landmark and events venue. Bellosguardo boasts a wealth of history and provided the perfect backdrop for the couple's nuptials, which took place on the grounds of the 90-year-old estate, according to images obtained by Vogue. Lovato donned a custom gown by Vivienne Westwood for the milestone occasion. It was designed in collaboration with a dedicated team from the brand, who made multiple trips between Los Angeles, where the bride is based, and London to ensure that the bride's dress fit perfectly for her special day. It featured 'heavy silk satin fabric' and a corseted bodice, per the fashion bible, and was paired with a 'single-tier, custom-length cathedral-style veil made from ivory tulle.' 'When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted], I often found myself coming back to Vivienne's designs—specifically how the silhouettes really complement the curves in your body, and her use of corsets. I love everything about the dress,' the Disney Channel alum told Vogue. For the reception, the 'Heart Attack' hitmaker donned an ivory silk satin column dress that was covered in pearls and also made by Westwood. 'There was so much attention to detail on the reception dress beading. The pearl detail and draping is such a special element, and each strand was draped and attached by hand, one by one. It's a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special,' Lovato told the outlet. Lovato and Lutes, who is also a singer, met while working on her hit 'Cool for the Summer' in January 2022. In August, the couple went public with their romance when they were spotted out in New York while holding hands. Just under a year after they met, Lutes got down on one knee and asked the singer to marry him with a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring. At the time, Lovato told People, 'You know, I've waited my whole life for him. It's very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring. It's very easy to stay centered with him because I love him so much, and he treats me so amazing.' The couple's gorgeous backdrop for their vows was just an hour away from their love nest, which is a modern farmhouse in Encino, CA, which Lovato purchased in 2020 for $7 million. The opulent abode boasts six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and measures 8,500 square feet. Behind a wooden gate, the property is surrounded by lush greenery and a stone pathway to the front door. The expansive floor plan features a cozy living area with a chic fireplace, glass wall, and light wooden furnishings. The chef's kitchen comes with a large island with a white marble countertop, state-of-the-art appliances, and a mix of oak and gray cabinets. The primary bathroom features a large soaking tub and glass shower, and a vanity on each side. The primary bedroom has a cozy in-wall fireplace, a king-sized bed, and built-in wooden shelves. The walk-in closet is topped with a glass chandelier, and there are hanging racks galore for the star's luxury clothes and accessories. The home comes with a private gym and a media room with a projector—making it the perfect sanctuary for the newlyweds to lounge following their wedding. Outside, there is a huge resort-style pool surrounded by greenery and stone walkways. The patio area offers several seating areas. Upon purchase, the property was initially believed to be Lovato's love nest with Mac Ehrich, whom she was engaged to in July 2020. However, just two months after Ehrich popped the question, the pair called off their engagement and went their separate ways. Lovato held on to the abode and has lived there since. RJ City Is Still Not ‘All Elite', But He Just Got The Next Best Thing
RJ City works for All Elite Wrestling. He hosts a great YouTube show called 'Hey! (EW)' on the weekends. Tony Khan has also credited him as being his 'right-hand man' for launching the incredibly successful 'Timeless' Toni Storm character and storyline with Mariah May. However, RJ City is still not truly 'All Elite' because he never got a graphic on social media. Advertisement That's right, the man who once drank coffee in his underwear with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin is still not completely Elite. AEW's Chauffeur Boz aimed to fix that. Boz has been responsible for getting many surprise AEW debuts to the arena. He's driven names like Saraya, Kazuchika Okada, Shelton Benjamin and a recent addition in Josh Alexander. Boz wanted to do something nice for the graphic-less RJ City, and gave him a ride and one of his customary 'how it's going' shout-outs on social media. 'Sometimes us drivers like to do good deeds…since @RJCity1 never got his AEW graphic, I figured I'd do the best I could for him after an amazing #AEWDoN #AEW,' Boz wrote on Twitter/X. Advertisement Don't worry, RJ. Willem eventually saw the sailboat, and we're sure you'll get an All Elite graphic one day too. Damian Priest excited to bring WWE to MetLife for SummerSlam 2025
When it comes to viral moments, few WWE superstars have as many as Damian Priest. The longtime professional wrestler stars every Friday night on Smackdown, putting on some of the best matches the promotion can offer. Advertisement But he's also had those 'Oh my God' moments, like when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Drew McIntyre, who had just made history himself by winning the crown. Or two years ago when he put on an amazing, classic match against hip hop icon Bad Bunny in Puerto Rico at WWE Backlash. Even this year, Priest stole the show at WrestleMania 41 when he took on McIntyre in a match that was so brutal, it earned a shoutout from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who said it was one of the best matches on loaded show. When Priest gets a moment, he makes the most of it. 'I didn't see it myself, but I heard Steve Austin said that,' Priest said. 'I mean, Steve Austin! I'm honored and humbled that he even watched the match. That's a high honor when arguably the greatest of all time says something, like I said, it's so cool to know he put it over. It's an insane world.' Advertisement Austin isn't the only one who admires Priest's work. In fact, he's just one of millions. Priest has become one of the most must-see WWE superstars no matter what he's doing. It doesn't matter if it's at WrestleMania in Vegas, Backlash in Puerto Rico or Smackdown every Friday night on USA, fans are always going to get the best out of Priest. But this summer, Priest will be wrestling right where he got his start in life and in the sport. The New York native is excited for when SummerSlam comes to MetLife Stadium this summer for a two-night event. It marks the first time the summer premium live event will be spread across two nights – Aug. 2 and 3 – so WWE will be all over the New York and New Jersey area for the summer spectacular. Advertisement All WWE stars get excited for the big events, but this one is a homecoming for Priest, who was born in New York and trained to become a professional wrestler at the Monster Factory in Paulsboro, New Jersey. 'Of course, whenever you perform in your hometown area, it makes it that much more special,' Priest said. 'Growing up I've been to so many events in New York and New Jersey, now being on the other side, all my friends and family will be there. '(When it was announced) I immediately got psyched. My first big event was WrestleMania (35) and I wasn't with WWE, I was with NXT. I was in the press box watching as a fan. So to wrestle and be part of a show at a place where I've watched as a fan, it's very, very special.' Summer Slam is a huge get for New Jersey because World Wrestling Entertainment has never been hotter. Advertisement Since being purchased by TKO Group Holdings, there's not a hotter ticket in entertainment. WWE routinely sells out arenas and stadiums not only across the country but across the globe and since moving Monday Night Raw to Netflix, the promotion has never been hotter. WrestleMania 41 just smashed all kinds of records after it was held April 19 and 20 in Las Vegas, and SummerSlam will be one of the hottest tickets out there this summer. If it's like the other big WWE events, seats will be hard to come by. It's not just a big show for fans. While all shows are important to the wrestlers, there's something about those massive stadium shows that makes everyone bring their A game. Advertisement That's how he approached his match with McIntyre last month at WrestleMania. 'Honestly, I just go in thinking I'm going to be in a lot of pain,' Priest said with a laugh. 'But it's WrestleMania, do whatever it takes. You don't worry about injuries or your future, that's the moment you live forever. That's how I prepared mentally. Give it my all, extra risk that I normally wouldn't take. That what you just said, the next day people are talking about it. Be remembered, draw the emotion. 'It's WrestleMania. It's the Super Bowl. It's Game 7 of the World Series. It was my first full length one on one match at WrestleMania, and to do it with someone like Drew McIntyre, he's on top of his game and on fire, it was awesome professional wrestling.' That's exactly what WrestleMania was, when he had the match of the night against McIntyre, one of the best professional wrestlers in the world. Advertisement WWE Backlash: WWE Backlash 2025 features Pat McAfee wrestling, John Cena vs. Randy Orton But two years ago, he did the same thing with Bad Bunny. The hip hop star is a great athlete and put everything he had into the match, but he certainly needed a veteran to guide him through the battle. Priest was perfect in that role. 'It was something that's always easier when you're a fan your entire life and I mean that about both of us,' Priest said of his classic battle with Bad Bunny. 'For me seeing so many celebrity matches. Understanding the structure, how to get the most out of people. Make that formula. It doesn't hurt to have some of the best minds around you give you ideas, suggesting things. For me, as great as it was, it wasn't as hard. It was hard for Bad Bunny, he had to wrap his mind around being in a lot of pain. Kudos to him for putting in the work. He put in the work. Advertisement 'I'm proud of that one because it's not easy and there was a lot of pressure. The idea of the formula was there, but we don't know how it's going to go live. We shocked everyone. And I'm proud of the importance, culturally. It was the most important match of my career.' At least so far. Priest has been on the top of the mountain. He'll have a chance to add to his legacy Saturday when he wrestles Jacob Fatu, LA Knight and his WrestleMania opponent, Drew McIntyre, in a fatal fourway at Backlash. The winner leaves with Fatu's U.S. Championship. He knows how hard it is to become the top guy in the sport. He's not afraid to do the work and he's thankful to those who paved the way for him. Advertisement Among the legends who helped him were the infamous 'clique,' featuring Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman. 'So many people have helped me, starting with the Monster Factory and everyone involved,' Priest said. 'So many legends that have given me advice. The entire Clique, the Undertaker is at the top of the list. And really Shawn and Hunter ever since NXT, then you have friends and family, I don't leave people out. Even if you're selfmade, you always need support and help, and I appreciate anyone who had a hand (in helping me).' He also appreciates being on the other end. Priest is no longer finding his way in WWE. He's a main eventer, a former champion and one of the top guys in the industry. He knows he had help getting to where he is and he's happy to lend a hand to the next generation. In fact, he's already doing that. Advertisement He's also doing his best to stay true to his character while beating up the guys fans don't like. But that doesn't mean he's a good guy. 'Now it's very close (to who I am),' Priest said. 'I am who I am. I guess if I had to pick, I'm the bad guy. I don't think I'm a good guy, but I just beat up bad guys. My favorite hero is Batman, he brutalized people, he did it outside the law, but he wasn't a bad guy. It's the eye of the beholder. For me, I always prefer being the bad guy.' A bad guy who is happy to be bringing WWE home to New York. SummerSlam tickets are on sale now. You can buy tickets for either night or combo tickets for both nights.
