RJ City Is Still Not ‘All Elite', But He Just Got The Next Best Thing

Yahoo27-05-2025

RJ City works for All Elite Wrestling. He hosts a great YouTube show called 'Hey! (EW)' on the weekends. Tony Khan has also credited him as being his 'right-hand man' for launching the incredibly successful 'Timeless' Toni Storm character and storyline with Mariah May.
However, RJ City is still not truly 'All Elite' because he never got a graphic on social media.

That's right, the man who once drank coffee in his underwear with 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin is still not completely Elite. AEW's Chauffeur Boz aimed to fix that.
Boz has been responsible for getting many surprise AEW debuts to the arena. He's driven names like Saraya, Kazuchika Okada, Shelton Benjamin and a recent addition in Josh Alexander.
Boz wanted to do something nice for the graphic-less RJ City, and gave him a ride and one of his customary 'how it's going' shout-outs on social media.
'Sometimes us drivers like to do good deeds…since @RJCity1 never got his AEW graphic, I figured I'd do the best I could for him after an amazing #AEWDoN #AEW,' Boz wrote on Twitter/X.

Don't worry, RJ. Willem eventually saw the sailboat, and we're sure you'll get an All Elite graphic one day too.

Why a 'Bear' Bryant commercial is often shared on social media on Mother's Day

As we approach Mother's Day, which falls on Sunday, May 11, 2025, here's a look back at a story about the holiday's connection to legendary Alabama football coach Paul W. "Bear" Bryant that The Tuscaloosa News originally published on May 6, 2021: It's become a Mother's Day tradition. Advertisement Somewhere in the world of social media, folks will begin sharing video of a heart-tugging South Central Bell Co. commercial from the 1970s that features legendary University of Alabama coach Paul W. "Bear" Bryant. The 30-second ad ends with Bryant asking viewers if they've called their mothers today. A YouTube video of the Bryant/Bell ad has been viewed more than 300,000 times. Last year, tweeted the video, garnering 210 retweets and nearly 500 "likes." The ad begins with Bryant, clad in a crimson sweater, hanging up the phone in his office. "One of the first things we tell our players is to keep in touch with their families. And when our freshmen first arrive, we ask them to write a postcard home, right then," Bryant says in a gravelly voice as the camera gradually gets closer. Advertisement "You know, we keep them pretty busy, but they always have time to pick up the phone and call. And it's really important to keep in touch. "Have you called your mama today? I sure wish I could call mine." Legend has it that Bryant, who died in 1983 at the age of 69, veered away from the script and ad-libbed the last line. The ad ends with a vocalist singing South Central Bell's slogan, "Reach out and touch someone." He was the 11th of her 12 children and grew up to play college football at the University of Alabama. Advertisement As a coach, Bryant won 323 games in 38 years. He started his career at the University of Maryland, moved on to the University of Kentucky, then Texas A&M University before settling in at his alma mater. During 25 seasons in Tuscaloosa, Bryant earned six national championships and 13 SEC titles, while launching the careers of future NFL legends Joe Namath and Ken Stabler. Prosecutors in the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial raised concerns to the judge on Tuesday after an online streamer and outlet leaked the identity of a key witness in the case. Combs' former personal assistant, who utilized the pseudonym "Mia," finished her testimony on Monday. Judge Arun Subramanian barred a YouTube streamer who shared Mia's identity from returning to court. Prosecutor Maurene Comey said another outlet posted Mia's real name on X. Prosecutors want the post removed and the source barred from court. Subramanian asked the prosecution to draft a possible court order for consideration. Why It Matters Mia worked for Combs from 2009 to 2017. Throughout her multiple days on the stand, she detailed multiple alleged incidents of physical and sexual assault by Combs. Combs is facing federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Elizabeth Williams via AP The identification of Mia comes as another witness is expected to testify under a pseudonym. "Jane," also identified as Victim-2, is expected to take the stand this week. What To Know Shortly after prosecutors spoke about Mia's identity being leaked, a woman was removed from the courtroom for causing a disturbance. "Everyone is laughing at Diddy," the woman said. "It's not right what they're doing to him!" Subramanian asked for her to be escorted out "right now." Eddy Garcia, who worked as the security supervisor at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles in 2016, testified on Tuesday. Combs was seen on the hotel's surveillance footage physically attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Footage of the 2016 incident was released by CNN last year. Combs said he wanted the video taken off a server and a copy of the video because it could "ruin his career" if the footage was made public, Garcia testified. Garcia said he then spoke to his supervisor, who agreed to do it for $50,000. Garcia said he signed an NDA, which would charge him $1 million if the agreement was broken. Combs then returned with a brown paper bag containing $100,000, Garcia testified. Garcia said he kept $30,000, gave $50,000 to his supervisor and $20,000 to another security officer. Derek Ferguson, a former CFO for Combs-founded company Bad Boy Entertainment, also testified on Tuesday. He said he never saw anyone help Combs commit crimes or acts of violence. What People Are Saying Garcia, referring to communications with Combs during his testimony: "On Easter, he said, 'Happy Easter my angel, God is good,' and then proceeded to ask if anyone had asked about the incident or the video. I said I hadn't heard anything and he said, 'OK.'" Ferguson, referring to Combs in his testimony: "He just worked constantly. His passion for what he did was really high so his work ethic and the number of hours that he put in was something that really pushed the entire team." What Happens Next Combs' trial is currently in its fourth week. Proceedings are expected to last eight to 10 weeks. Combs is facing life in prison if convicted. Affectionate Pit Bull Is Losing Hope in Shelter Watching Her Neighbors Get Adopted

Affectionate Pit Bull Is Losing Hope in Shelter Watching Her Neighbors Get Adopted originally appeared on PetHelpful. Sadly, animal shelters and rescues being over-capacity isn't exactly breaking news. Economic hardship makes pet ownership more expensive than ever, and populations of stray and feral animals in many cities continue to grow. True, more pet parents are also choosing to adopt, not shop, for a new pet, but shelter dogs like Pretzel are sometimes waiting longer than ever. Pretzel is an adorable 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who's been waiting oh-so-patiently at the Humane Society of Broward County in Florida for her forever person to find her. Although she's been a brave and resilient girl, she's beginning to lose hope after watching so many of her puppy neighbors get adopted. Poor Pretzel! I wish I could reach through the screen and give her a hug, but I know she's in wonderful hands at @humanebroward. She was surrendered to the shelter after raising a litter of puppies, and she's been waiting for someone to treat her like their baby ever since. Needless to say, this precious Pittie girl is more than ready to get adopted. The look on her face when she watches other dogs leave for their forever homes is positively heartbreaking, but her perfect person is out there somewhere. My fingers are crossed that they're just about to find her!Pretzel may have had a rough past, but she's a resilient, affectionate, and playful dog who will thrive in the right forever home. Her ideal person or family will help her gain confidence and feel like part of a family again, no matter how big or small that family may be. She's great with kids, adults, and other dogs, so any family could be her perfect match! Adopting a shelter dog can be a joyful experience, but it also requires plenty of patience and flexibility. Rescue dogs need time to adjust to their forever homes, but after a few weeks, they'll begin to feel completely at home. It's only a matter of time until it's Pretzel's turn to live out her own Happily Ever After! Looking for more PetHelpful updates? Follow us on YouTube for more entertaining videos.
