Ex-WWE Champion Paige Recounts Horrific Backstage Incident: "Someone's Hand Come Over My Mouth, Grabbed Me..."

Paige, whose real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis, was one of the more popoular names in women's WWE. She was the youngest female champion in WWE history, a two-time WWE Divas Champion, and a NXT Women's winner too. She is also the first woman to hold WWE and NXT Women's Championship. After WWE, she went to AEW (All Elite Wrestling) in September, 2022. She was a women's world champion in AEW. On Friday, in her YouTube channel 'Rulebreakers With Saraya', revealed a horrific event. "Like, it was at a wrestling show. And I went out to peek at the crowd, and you know, like most live events, it's just like pipe and drape, you know, so you can peep through. Like, it was really dark. I went down the little hallway, and it was really dark. Really dark. And I peeped through, and then all of a sudden I feel someone's hand come over my mouth — no f**** way — and grabbed me and drag me into the dark. And I'm just like — and I just start freaking out and freaking out. And then he like lets me go, and there's like this light, and then he was like, 'It's just me. I'm just joking, you know," said Saraya. Later, the individual said he was a familiar figure in WWE and added it was a joke. Saraya said: "That's not funny." Triple H, former WWE star and current chief content officer, recently shared a poster of "Unreal - It's More Real Than ouy Think", a Netflix sports series. The show is likely to give fans a behind-the-scenes experience of the WWE. 'WWE: Unreal' will have appearances from John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair, Chelsea Green, Jey Uso, Xavier Woods, and Triple H himself. The series is aimed at showing the intense work that goes behind the glitz of WWE.

Adam Cole breaks silence on AEW All In TNT Championship vacation

The post Adam Cole breaks silence on AEW All In TNT Championship vacation appeared first on ClutchPoints. When news broke before AEW All In Texas that Adam Cole would not only not be wrestling on the promotion's biggest Pay-Per-View of the year but would be outright vacating the TNT Championship, it left fans downright perplexed. Advertisement Sure, Cole has suffered injuries in the past, from concussions to a broken ankle during his program with MJF, but he just wrestled a complete match on Collision mere days before All In. What happened? While that isn't known just yet, Cole took to the ring before the four-way match for the TNT Championship match and laid out his past, present, and potentially future in All Elite Wrestling, which isn't as guaranteed as some might hope. 'It's really hard to put this into words, but I wanted to come out here and talk to you all. Very sorry that I let everybody down. I can't wrestle tonight.I have some health issues going on at the moment that not only will not allow me to defend this championship tonight, but I am going to be gone for a while. And I don't even want to think about talking about retiring because I am not in the right headspace, but I wanted to have this opportunity to come out and talk to you all. If this is indeed goodbye, because you are the best damn wrestling fans in the world. Thank you. Thank you. Since I was nine years old, I've always dreamed of being a professional wrestler,' Cole said. 'It's all I've ever, ever wanted to do. And all of you made that dream come true for me. You've supported me across multiple promotions all over the world. You have no idea how much that means to me. With my, with my highest moments and recently my lowest moments, all of you have been so supportive every step of the way. D**n it. Advertisement 'I will love you forever. Thank you so much. I don't want to take up any more of your time because we have the best damn wrestling pay-per-view you've ever seen happening right now. We're going to have a new, a new TNT champion tonight. Once again, you will continue to watch AEW do pay-per-view like nobody else in the world does. And from me, honestly, from everybody at AEW, thank you for making AEW what it is. Thank you for making AEW so special. And thank you all so damn much for changing my life. I love you always.' Did Cole losing not on his belt but potentially his career put a horrible damper on All In? Yes, while watching Dustin Rhodes finally become a singles champion in the promotion was sweet, it coming at Cole's expense isn't a tradeoff even 'The Natural' would have accepted. Needless to say, one question Tony Khan will have to answer tonight during the All In media scrum is borderline guaranteed, as fans want to know what's next for the 'Panama Playboy.' Ex-WWE star pulled from AEW All In 90 minutes before start time

A major last minute change has been made to tonight's AEW All In event on Amazon Prime Video. The All Elite Wrestling show – which has an 8pm start time for fans in the UK, the same as WWE's NXT Great American Bash on Netflix – was set to feature former WWE star Adam Cole defending his TNT Championship. Unfortunately, AEW owner Tony Khan has cancelled his planned match with Kyle Fletcher, and stripped him of the title. In an announcement made around an hour and a half before the show was due to start, the Fulham FC boss said during a live video on X: 'I cannot clear Adam Cole to go out there to wrestle today, I don't feel good about it. 'I had a long talk with him. I'm gonna ask Adam to take some time away to make sure he's clear, but I do need to vacate the championship.' Instead, fans will get a '4-Way Fight' for the now vacant championship, with Kyle Fletcher getting three new opponents to determine a new champion. He will now face Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin Rhodes – best known to WWE fans as Goldust – with the winner being crowd the TNT Champion. The nature of the injury is yet to be confirmed, but fans are heartbroken after Cole has dealt with numerous setbacks since joining AEW in 2021. 'I hope Adam Cole recovers well man, cause vacating the TNT title the day of a big title defense like this is so heartbreaking,' wrote @OmarCameUp on X. 'Adam Cole was hitting on a consistent base since he won the belt. Heartbreaking,' @AdamGoldberg28 agreed. And @DragunovTheDon added: 'I feel so bad for Adam Cole right now. I said it a week ago that his AEW run has been nothing but unlucky because of injuries and now he got injured again 💔' Cole is also yet to address the announcement and his removal from the show, with his most recent posts on X all promoting the event over the last few days. He has history at AEW All In, as he headlined the 2023 edition at Wembley Stadium when he faced MJF in a historic main event. Cole fell off an entrance ramp in September 2023, as he suffered a horror ankle injury in a freak accident, while a year earlier, he was out of action for several months due to issues following a concussion. Reflecting on his recovery, he previously told Metro: 'It was stressful, because of what I was going through, this very legitimate, very serious head injury. View More » 'The idea of showcasing that to the world was very intimidating but I'm so glad that I did. 'The fans were so supportive the whole way through, and they're gonna get to see a totally different side.' This is a breaking news story, more to follow soon… Check back shortly for further updates.
