Adam Cole breaks silence on AEW All In TNT Championship vacation
When news broke before AEW All In Texas that Adam Cole would not only not be wrestling on the promotion's biggest Pay-Per-View of the year but would be outright vacating the TNT Championship, it left fans downright perplexed.

Sure, Cole has suffered injuries in the past, from concussions to a broken ankle during his program with MJF, but he just wrestled a complete match on Collision mere days before All In. What happened?
While that isn't known just yet, Cole took to the ring before the four-way match for the TNT Championship match and laid out his past, present, and potentially future in All Elite Wrestling, which isn't as guaranteed as some might hope.
'It's really hard to put this into words, but I wanted to come out here and talk to you all. Very sorry that I let everybody down. I can't wrestle tonight.I have some health issues going on at the moment that not only will not allow me to defend this championship tonight, but I am going to be gone for a while. And I don't even want to think about talking about retiring because I am not in the right headspace, but I wanted to have this opportunity to come out and talk to you all. If this is indeed goodbye, because you are the best damn wrestling fans in the world. Thank you. Thank you. Since I was nine years old, I've always dreamed of being a professional wrestler,' Cole said.
'It's all I've ever, ever wanted to do. And all of you made that dream come true for me. You've supported me across multiple promotions all over the world. You have no idea how much that means to me. With my, with my highest moments and recently my lowest moments, all of you have been so supportive every step of the way. D**n it.

'I will love you forever. Thank you so much. I don't want to take up any more of your time because we have the best damn wrestling pay-per-view you've ever seen happening right now. We're going to have a new, a new TNT champion tonight. Once again, you will continue to watch AEW do pay-per-view like nobody else in the world does. And from me, honestly, from everybody at AEW, thank you for making AEW what it is. Thank you for making AEW so special. And thank you all so damn much for changing my life. I love you always.'
Did Cole losing not on his belt but potentially his career put a horrible damper on All In? Yes, while watching Dustin Rhodes finally become a singles champion in the promotion was sweet, it coming at Cole's expense isn't a tradeoff even 'The Natural' would have accepted. Needless to say, one question Tony Khan will have to answer tonight during the All In media scrum is borderline guaranteed, as fans want to know what's next for the 'Panama Playboy.'

Earlier this year, they put their friendship to work in a new way by starting up a Twitch channel called StudBudz, where they've streamed game reactions, casual interviews with other players, or just hanging out. What sets StudBudz apart from any other attempts to cover the WNBA is, of course, that the call is coming from inside the house. Who better to bring fans on a journey into the league than actual WNBA players? It isn't just that Williams and Hiedeman know the game, but they know the players. They've got a perspective that's unrivaled—and the fact that they're damn entertaining has certainly played a role in how quickly their channel was growing even before All-Star Weekend. "I think that me and Courtney just embrace who we are as people, who we are as athletes," Hiedeman previously told Forbes. "And I think that's kind of where the name came from. For sure, we're just two stud buds hanging out." Court Williams Williams' college career saw her playing for the South Florida Bulls all four years. She was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury in the first round of the 2016 WNBA draft, chosen eighth overall. She was quickly traded to the Connecticut Sun the same year, where she played through the 2019 season. After that, she spent time with the Atlanta Dream, went back to the Connecticut Sun, played a year with the Chicago Sky, and finally landed with the Minnesota Lynx in 2024. Natisha "T" Hiedeman Hiedeman joined the WNBA in 2019 after spending her college years playing for the Marquette Golden Eagles in Milwaukee. She was actually initially drafted by the Lynx before getting traded (and waived by) the Sun. After a little more moving around, she ultimately played her first WNBA game with the Sun after all and, like Williams, signed with the Lynx in 2024. StudBudz livestreaming WNBA All-Star Weekend Williams was chosen for the All-Star roster, and Hiedeman opted to tag along to help run a 72-hour livestream of the event. That meant they weren't just covering gameplay, but everything going on over the weekend, from parties to hallway chats to hotel room pranks. For fans interested in the sapphic side of the WNBA, that meant a whole lot of relationship theories got confirmed (or as close to confirmed as we can get), and new theories may even have formed. But a lot of the best moments, and what captivated viewers to the point that StudBudz were all anyone was talking about for most of the weekend, were just players and other WNBA figures being themselves, cutting loose, and having a great time with their pals. The WNBA didn't need humanizing—fans have long been invested in the people behind these games—but it did offer a deeper dive and a more intimate look behind the curtain than we ever could have hoped for. New Book Unearths Secrets Involving Clint Eastwood's Marriage to Maggie Johnson
Clint Eastwood was married to Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984, but according to a new book, the Dirty Harry legend wasn't faithful. Far from it. 'By many accounts, including his own, he more or less comported himself as if he were a bachelor,' Shawn Levy writes in Clint: The Man and the Movies. Levy claims Maggie knew all about her husband's wandering eye and says Clint reportedly told Photoplay magazine in 1963, 'One thing Mag had to learn about me was that I was going to do as I pleased. She had to accept that, because if she didn't, we wouldn't be married.' Clint is also quoted as adding, 'I'm independent … and [Maggie] accepts me as I am and doesn't strangle me with female possessiveness.' Years later, Clint told Playboy that he thought Maggie was 'a woman who knows how much room I need.' In his book, Levy says Clint would pick up women in his acting classes, on the studio lots where he was working and even in the apartment complex where he lived with Maggie. The Rawhide star's dalliances even produced children: He and stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis had daughter Kimber Lynn in 1964. Clint also had a longtime romance with Sondra Locke, whom he cast in his 1975 Western, The Outlaw Josey Wales. Their affair ended in 1989. Sondra writes in her 1997 autobiography, The Good, the Bad, and the Very Ugly: A Hollywood Journey, that she had had two abortions and a tubal ligation because he didn't want any more children — a fact Clint denies. Kevin Feige Says Mephisto Was Never the Plan for ‘WandaVision'
By the time Mephisto, played by Sacha Baron Cohen, appeared at the end of Ironheart to strike a sinister deal with Riri Williams, it felt almost anticlimactic for Marvel fans. That's because it was long anticipated that the character would appear on WandaVision, or perhaps, when that didn't happen, its witchy spin-off Agatha All Along. There were certainly teases about it, but it wasn't meant to be until Marvel's most recent series—and that's according to Kevin Feige himself. As reported by CBR, the Marvel boss came clean about Mephisto in a recent roundtable interview. 'He was never part of WandaVision … But the enthusiasm with which he was theorized on that certainly was cool, and was fun to watch, and he's another character that, pre-MCU, it would have been, 'How do you (do Mephisto)? He's the devil? How do you do that character?' But he's a formative character! He was a big part of Thanos's storyline in the comics. So again, now that he's here, the potential is—the plan is clear, theoretically, to use more of him.' 'Theoretically,' Feige said, but now that Mephisto is out of the bag, the next place your mind goes is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, given the character's importance in the comic book arc of the same name. Even though the story won't be the same (for one thing, there's not a big-screen Peter and Mary Jane marriage to mess with yet), certainly some inspiration might be taken. What do you think?
