More rain and a few storms tomorrow

The Latest from Storm Team 5… After a quiet start to the weekend, multiple waves of rain and storms moved the area on Sunday, bringing about a quarter to three quarters of an inch of rain and some hail up to 1″ in diameter. Thankfully, tonight, the rain is done for and I am expecting a quiet night with clouds arriving late. Lows in the low to mid 50s. The upper level part of the system will move in tomorrow, bringing scattered rain and a few thunderstorms once again for the morning, lasting through at least the afternoon, before activity begins to taper later in the evening. Plenty of dry hours are expected tomorrow. Additional rain amounts between 0.10″ to 0.25″, isolated higher. Highs tomorrow will be very cool compared to average, in the upper 50s and low to middle 60s! Nicer looking day expected on Tuesday with a mix of sun & clouds with highs back in the 70s. Warmer weather returns Wednesday with mostly sunny skies, high temperature will reach the low to mid 80s. Then, a few days of rain chances move in to the end the week. No severe weather, but two rounds of rain & t-storms expected today

The Latest from Storm Team 5… Good morning! We are starting off this Sunday fairly quiet with a mix of sun and clouds, but a cold front is moving into NW WI with a line of rain and storms attached to it. No severe weather is in the forecast today, but I am expecting the rain and storms to arrive in two rounds today. A widespread round one will move in around 8-9 a.m. out west, exiting the lakeshore about 3-4 p.m. At the same time, a few isolated rain and storms will likely flare up in central WI and move in throughout the late PM and early evening. No severe weather is expected, but a few stronger storms producing brief downpours and gusty winds are possible. Highs today will be a bit cooler then yesterday, in the upper 60s and lower to middle 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Just keep those eyes on the sky if you are headed to Walleye Weekend Day 3. Tonight, increasing clouds with a stray shower late, lows in the low to middle 50s. More showers and a few isolated rumbles of thunder are possible on Monday, especially in the morning. Highs will only manage the lower to middle 60s. Two day rain totals will range from 0.25-0.75″, isolated higher. Much nicer weather arrives Tuesday into Wednesday, with highs in the 70s and eventually pushing 80 mid week. For all your latest updates on the weather, follow Ryan on Facebook, X and Instagram. Hazy sunshine and a few degrees warmer tomorrow

The Latest from Storm Team 5… It was a nice and comfy day out there as temperatures reaches the 70s away from the water. The wildfire smoke was also quiet thin and stayed well above the ground, which is great news for those that are sensitive too it. Tonight, it will be another cool night with lows falling into the lower 40s with a few middle to upper 30s in the Northwoods. That has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Frost Advisory for northern Oconto and all of Marinette and Langlade counties from 1 a.m. until 8 a.m. Tomorrow will see full sunshine once again with temperatures running into the middle and upper 70s, cooler lakeside. Another batch of wildfire smoke will drift overhead and it will likely stay up there but it will cause the sky to appear milky white at times again. Heads up, a solar storm is expected to reach earth and peak tomorrow night into Monday morning. Like always it is hard to predict when and with the presence of wildfire smoke, that may hinder the viewing a bit. Either way, head north away from city lights for the best chance at it! Monday, we get quite warm and a little humid. Temperatures away from the water likely will reach the upper 80s to around 90, lower 80s lakeside. Looks like a thicker batch of wildfire smoke moves in that could mix down to the surface, causing health impacts for those that are sensitive to it. We get even more humid on Tuesday and our next chance of rain and thunderstorms moves in for the PM, evening and overnight, likely clearing before daybreak on Wednesday. Cloudy and cooler once again today

The Latest from Storm Team 5… Good morning! It will be a cooler day once again to wrap up this final day before Memorial Day weekend! After some areas of sun early this morning, expect mostly cloudy to overcast skies to fill back in. Highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. There are some signs that the cloud deck will open up allowing some sunshine later this afternoon and evening. Lets hope! Tonight, partly cloudy skies, and with a continued north wind, it will be a chilly night in the upper 30s and low 40s. Looking pretty nice here for Memorial Day weekend with temperatures getting slightly warmer each day. For Saturday, a nice mix of sun and clouds with temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. There is a chance of a passing shower later in the day. Sunday, mix of sun and clouds once again, highs in the middle 60s. The best weather day will be Monday for all the parades and services. Mostly sunny, highs closing in on 70! Watching a chance for our next opportunity for precipitation around Wednesday-Thursday, details are up in the air at this time. Severe threat is over for Friday, breezy and cooler this weekend

The Latest from Storm Team 5… While not as intense as Thursday night, it was still an active afternoon and evening in northeast Wisconsin with multiple severe thunderstorm warnings issued for the area. The severe threat is now over for northeast Wisconsin, but a few rain showers are possible to swing in overnight around the upper level low. Temperatures tonight will fall into the upper 40s and low 50s. For tomorrow, most will stay cloudy and dry, but an isolated morning shower is possible. Highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Winds will likely gust to 25-30mph. Sunday, that NW wind will continue to drag in cooler air, as highs only reach the 50s areawide under mostly cloudy skies. We stay cool on Monday and Tuesday, but plan on temperatures warming up starting mid week and into Memorial Day weekend. The weather looks quiet, just a few showers south of Oshkosh Tuesday.
