A 21-year-old man was arrested by police for an armed robbery last week.
On Aug. 3, Wasagaming RCMP received a report of armed robbery at a business on Main Street of Strathclair, at approximately 10:05 p.m.
When officers arrived, an employee advised that a man entered the premise, demanded money and threatened them with bear spray. The man fled with cash and alcohol.
The employee was not injured, and officers gathered detailed description of the suspect. Police began patrolling but were unable to find the man.
A warrant was issued after further investigation identified the man. A family member brought the man into Minnedosa RCMP, leading to the man's arrest.
The 21-year-old man now faces robbery, weapons-related charges, and charges of disobeying order of court. The man remains in custody.
