One of the most exciting moments in WWE recently was when Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Evolution 2025 to become the Women's World Champion. This not only added another world championship to her WWE tenure, but it cemented her as one of the top villains in the company. However, it appear that the fan-favorite WWE Superstar's reign may unfortunately cut short due to medical reasons. Elsa/Getty Images Before the Aug. 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced on social media that Naomi was not medically cleared to wrestle with no further explanation. "Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match against Iyo Sky will not take place tonight on Monday Night Raw," WWE said. "There is definitely a rumor going around in WWE about what's going on with Naomi, and like it's being talked about by people there, and if it is, in fact, what's going on, she is going to be out for a long, long time," Alvarez said, per David Robles of "Okay, I'll just say that for now. My presumption is that, you know, people will find out probably fairly soon, but I think that that it would be a while. If this is the case." This has turned out to be the case since Naomi will be appearing on the "What's Your Story?" podcast with Stephanie McMahon alongside her husband, fellow WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso. More Pro Wrestling: WWE Superstar Reportedly Signs New Contract Naomi and WWE have remained quiet regarding what exactly the medical condition is, but Alvarez noted that it was strange for WWE to announce that she will miss the next Premium Live Event. "Clash in Paris isn't for three more weeks," Alvarez elaborated. "So oftentimes when, let's say that she has a concussion, okay, if she had a concussion, they would just be [say] she's not medically cleared to compete [and] they would evaluate her next week. "To already presume she's not going to be at Clash in Paris. That doesn't sound good." It looks like fans will have to wait until their appearance on "What's Your Story?" for an answer.
