Comstock Announces Lineup for Summerbration 2025 at Reston Station
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHCI) ('Comstock'), a leading asset manager, developer, and operator of mixed-use and transit-oriented properties in the Washington, D.C. region, announced the full lineup for the Summerbration 2025 concert and event series that will be held at Reston Station. The free events, which include live music on Fridays, outdoor movies on Saturdays, and weekly wellness classes, will kick off on Friday, May 30 th and run through September 19 th. The Fab Fridays Live Music series, hosted by the Reston Community Center (RCC), will feature tribute and cover bands that will perform on the Reston Metro Plaza stage. This exciting series starts on Friday, May 30 th, and will showcase a variety of performers who celebrate the catalogs of legendary artists covering everything from classic rock to country, R&B, and timeless hits from the 80s through the 2000s. Highlighting the series will be signature performances from Bruce in the USA, the nation's top Bruce Springsteen tribute band, on September 5 th, as well as A Tribute to the Music of Taylor Swift featuring Kanin Wren on July 4 th that will bring the energy of The Eras Tour to Reston Station and include a host of festive on-site activities that will make it a memorable evening for all who attend. Six Flags Over Georgia Opens Season with Debut of New Roller Coaster, Georgia Gold Rusher
New Revolutionary Thrill Ride and Enhanced Park Amenities Welcome Guests in 2025 MABLETON, Ga., March 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags Over Georgia opens its gates for another season of thrills and family fun on Saturday, March 15. Headlining the Opening Day festivities is the debut of Georgia Gold Rusher, a new revolutionary roller coaster expected to strike gold with park visitors. 'As the park's 12th coaster and the world's first free-spinning gondola coaster, this attraction represents our team's commitment to delivering unmatched thrills, immersive entertainment and lifelong memories,' said Greg Fuller, general manager at Six Flags Over Georgia. Georgia Gold Rusher is a first-of-its-kind attraction, featuring free-spinning seating that deliver a different experience with each ride. Guests board one of two gondolas facing outward and are launched back and forth on a 590-foot, U-shaped track at speeds of 60 mph and heights up to 144 feet. Punctuated by dynamic water features, the unique ride experience is packed with three gravity-defying 'airtime' (weightless) moments on gravity stall ramps, and four unique airtime sensations on the coaster's central hill.
