Snowbird, Utah, will soon begin selling preferred parking passes for next season. They cost $1,299, according to a recently-updated page on the resort's preferred parking pass provides access to the Lower Gad Valley, Pond and Bypass Road Preferred Parking Lots between December 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. They go on sale at 10 a.m. April 15 and are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Preferred Parking pass holders are not required to make a reservation for holiday and peak preferred parking pass holders will have two weeks to renew their pass between March 26 and April to keep up with the best stories and photos in skiing? The proceeds from the preferred parking passes will go toward "improving and expanding carpool-specific parking, enhancing carpool rewards, and supporting UTA Ski Bus rides for Season Passholders," according to Snowbird's majority of Snowbird's parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The resort also offers daily paid parking reservations. This winter, those paid parking slots cost between $20 and $50, depending on the day. The price of the daily parking reservations for next winter haven't been released yet but, according to Snowbird, they will be "priced dynamically based on demand." Reserved spots cost $20-$50 during the Winter 24/25 season. Snowbird has added more premium free carpool parking spots for next season. Vehicles with three or more passengers are parking passes aren't exclusive to Snowbird. Another Utah ski resort, Solitude, sold a cheaper $499 season parking pass for the 2024-2025 winter. Outside of the Beehive State, Crystal Mountain, Washington, sold a $1,999 A-Lot parking permit for the 2024-2025 season. Lake Louise, Alberta, sold a priority parking pass for CAD $ Snowbird, season passes for lift access are also now on sale. The Summit Pass, which includes complete access to Snowbird and no blackout dates, costs $1, purchased by May 14, the Summit Pass also includes the unique Freeloader Pass for free. It can be given to any skier or snowboarder who is 18-years-old or younger."No relation is required. Cool aunts, caring neighbors and good family friends can all participate," Snowbird's website reads. The Freeloader Pass, like the Summit Pass, provides unlimited access to Snowbird.
