Set to take place on Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, July 20, 2025, the highly anticipated event promises a fun-filled weekend of frozen treats, live entertainment, and community celebration. Attendees can sample over 50 flavors of ice cream from leading local and national brands—all included with admission. From traditional favorites like vanilla and cookies & cream to dairy-free, vegan, and innovative new flavors, Scooped!™ offers something for every palate. Beyond ice cream, the festival will feature live music performances, interactive activities, giant games, the fan-favorite Milkshake Throwdown and Sundae Showdown competitions, as well as food vendors serving savory items to balance the sweetness. Ice cream sundae competition coming to downtown Ithaca
ITHACA, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Community members can learn more about history preservation while enjoying a sweet treat this weekend as a fun competition comes to Ithaca. The History Center in Tompkins County is hosting Sundae Showdown on April 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Downtown Ithaca Conference Center. During the event, guests will be able to sample over-the-top ice cream sundae creations from local chefs, restaurants, and community members. Then, they will be able to vote for their favorite. The event supports the history center. A sundae passport costs $20 and will let you taste all of the creations. Families can share one passport. Anyone is welcome to attend.
