Throughout the show, Tim Lovejoy paused the broadcast to tackle an incident from the previous week's edition. He remarked: "There's something we need to address. Well, I'm shocked, I'm shocked. I'm absolutely shocked." Tim added:"You got told."

Anglesey cider company ceases trading amid 'very sad' loss
Jaspels Anglesey Craft Cider was founded by Adrian and Janet Percival, and also operated a cider shop and bar at its Bwlan Barn home in Aberffraw. But last week the company announced its immediate end, with a statement from Mrs Percival citing "a number of reasons" for the decision. She said seasonal challenges and "unfair" lease conditions, which made it "impossible" to continue producing cider, as well as the couple's break-up, made the business "unviable". The news came as a shock to cider enthusiasts, with the company's popular beverages even making an appearance on Channel 4 morning show Sunday Brunch. In a statement on social media, she said: "Jaspels has sadly closed for a number of reasons. "Firstly, unfair lease conditions. The estate went back on the initial agreement terms, and we were only offered a 12-month lease. "This made a significant impact on the future planning of the business and impossible to make the cider on those terms. We could not possibly move the business again. "That on top of seasonality challenges made it unviable in the end. A change of personal circumstances also meant we could not continue as myself and Ade separated due to stress. "I left in November, and it finally closed mid-July. I would like to say that we loved every moment of Jaspels and will miss the barn and bar massively. "We hope it will hold happy memories for you all over the nine years it was open in Amlwch and Aberffraw. "It is very sad for the island and ourselves."

Sunday Brunch viewers distracted by Simon Rimmer's habit as they issue same complaint
Sunday Brunch viewers were left unimpressed as they tuned into the latest edition of the Channel 4 show, with some pointing out that they were distracted by Simon Rimmer's constant habit Channel 4 viewers watching the latest Sunday Brunch episode raised concerns about presenter Simon Rimmer. The programme featured guests Rachel Riley, Ashley Roberts, Ryan Sampson, Harriet Webb, and Geoff Norcott alongside hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon with the usual mix of celebrity chat and culinary segments. However, one particular mannerism began drawing criticism from eagle-eyed viewers at home. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one frustrated viewer posted: "#sundaybrunch why does [Simon] that fake sipping from his mug ? Probably because he can't think of anything to add to the interview." Another observer echoed similar sentiments, writing online: "Rimmer constantly picking up his empty mug again and taking pretend sips." Beyond the presenting style, some viewers expressed dissatisfaction with the guest line-up, with many switching channels. One disgruntled fan commented: "As usual, I've never heard of most of them! And that Ashley Roberts just talks over the others. I'll join you with Titchmarsh." Similarly, another viewer declared: "#sundaybrunch Riley and Norcott on the same show. No thanks. Won't be watching today.", reports the Express. Despite the criticism, the show wasn't without its supporters. One enthusiastic viewer praised: "Lovely to see @jennylinford on #SundayBrunch talking about her book #Repast ! Fascinating stuff . . . Amazing objects from @britishmuseum." Meanwhile, another optimistic fan noted: "People I recognise it could be a good #SundayBrunch this week." Last week, the programme took an uncomfortable twist and left Simon having to tackle the elephant in the room, "why has the Channel 4 show never won a Bafta?". During one section, Omar Allibhoy needed to use the noisy blender to create a watermelon gazpacho soup to go with his tuna carpaccio dish. He said sorry before switching on the kitchen gadget for several seconds, and then Simon appeared on screen and joked: "It's no wonder we've never won a Bafta," as everyone in the studio erupted into laughter.

From Orkut to parenthood: Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane and Radhika's relationship timeline
Long before stadium lights and cheering crowds, Ajinkya Rahane and Radhika Dhopavkar were simply two youngsters growing up in the same Mumbai housing society. Their earliest interactions began when Radhika, a friend of Rahane's sister, and the future batsman crossed paths during school and local outings. They spent their college days exchanging messages on Orkut, and seven years of steady courtship later, the foundation for a relationship that would culminate in marriage, parenthood and shared joy was born. From childhood neighbors to soulmates Radhika first entered Rahane's world as his sister's friend, a connection that blossomed in school corridors and housing-society corridors alike. They began dating in 2007 after years of casual friendship, per News18. Both lived in the same apartment complex and often crossed paths en route to college. Radhika studied interior design at Vinayak Ganesh Vaze College, while Rahane trained for national selection. 'During those days, we chatted on Orkut but rarely mustered the courage to speak in person,' Rahane recalled in Curly Tales' Sunday Brunch. 'I have spent more time in her college than mine, waiting for her to come out and meet me.' A down-to-earth proposal Rather than a grand gesture, Rahane chose simple sincerity. After dating for seven years, he sat down with both families to share his intentions: 'I told my parents that we are very serious about each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together.' Their wedding, held on September 26, 2014, was a traditional Marathi ceremony in Mumbai attended by over 1,500 guests. The bride's amusement dipped, however, when Rahane arrived in a T-shirt and jeans as a jest. He later swapped into full wedding attire to complete the picture. Where are they now? Marriage brought the neighborhood sweethearts two children: daughter Aarya in October 2019 and son Raghav in October 2022. As the dutiful wife that she is, Dhopavkar is often seen cheering from the stands during his games, earning her the title of his biggest fan. When the cricketer suffered a finger injury during the 2023 World Test Championship final, she stayed by his side throughout recovery, praising his calm. Though he is not currently in Team India, Rahane continues to shine in the IPL, with his wife's presence a constant off-field pillar.

Sunday Brunch star tearfully shares cancer update on live TV
Sunday Brunch star Morgan McGlynn Carr shared an emotional update with fans after being diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer last year Sunday's episode of Sunday Brunch took a heartfelt turn when regular guest and cheesemonger Morgan McGlynn Carr teared up while discussing her battle with breast cancer. During the live broadcast on Sunday (July 13), an emotional Morgan shared with hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy, as well as the star-studded panel, that she had "got the all clear". Tears welled up in her eyes as she made the announcement, barely holding them back in front of guests including Conan Gray, Sam Palladio, Adam Kay, Laura Checkley, Aggy K Adams and Amy Macdonald. Choking up, she admitted: "As some of you know and some of you don't, I'm already wobbling, I am sorry." In a supportive gesture, Tim offered Morgan a comforting hug as she continued: "I got diagnosed with breast cancer last October, so we got the all clear, like a week ago." Applause filled the studio as Morgan, seizing the moment, urged: "I was just going to say, check your lumps, your bumps and trust your gut and yeah, that's it really", reports the Express. Acknowledging her support system, Tim noted Morgan's "really supportive friendship group," to which Morgan couldn't help but tear up again, responding: "Yes, I've been taken on surprise trips and I've had the biggest support system including you guys as well." Morgan was on the verge of breaking down again as she tried to express: "The love and support that I've felt," and turning to the famous faces before her, she confessed: "I'm honestly not normally like this." Tim softly reassured her with the words: "It's a big thing to go through," capturing the emotional weight of the moment. Morgan, a regular on the show, recently opened up to her Instagram followers about her secret struggle with a life-altering illness. The cheesemonger posted a photo of herself from a hospital bed, accompanied by the caption: "In October 2024, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. It was nothing short of earth-shattering. But we've done our best to keep it as normal as possible for our daughter." A Sunday Brunch team member since 2016, Morgan married Ben Carr three years ago. Sharing an update on her life since the diagnosis, Morgan courageously recounted her experience: "Treatment is different for every person. "No two paths are the same. But here's what happened to me. I was given a week before chemo to get my ducks in a row, which included chopping my hair off and IVF and egg retrieval, something I'm incredibly grateful I was able to do. "Then came six months of weekly chemotherapy. The hardest thing I've ever done. Some weeks I sat for 13 hours at a time, thanks to my friends who kept me company. And for those who've been through the cold cap, you'll know it's no joke." Morgan confessed that she needed time to process her emotions before sharing her story, admitting she had been completely unaware of cancer symptoms prior to her diagnosis. Determined to make a difference, she bravely chose to open up about her health struggles, hoping her story might aid others facing similar challenges. Morgan passionately implored: "If even one person sees this and it prompts them to check a lump or get a second opinion, it could save a life. Please trust your gut." Catch Sunday Brunch every Sunday on Channel 4, starting at 10am.
