Kanpur Metro staff returns lost belongings to two passengers
Kanpur: Kanpur Metro has built a reputation for both reliable service and efficient handling of lost belongings, ensuring their return to passengers.
At Kanpur Central Metro station on Sunday, the vigilant staff discovered two valuable bags from different travellers.

The items were delivered to the station controller, who broadcast announcements throughout the station.
Following verification procedures, the possessions were successfully restored to their legitimate owners.
The first recovery involved a cream-coloured ladies' handbag discovered at 10 am near the X-BIS security checkpoint. The bag, containing Rs 7000, a Vivo mobile phone, and essential documents, was returned to Kusum Lata Srivastava from Sunil Kunj, Kalyanpur, at 10.05 am after verification.
The second instance occurred at 10.30 am at the identical location, where a black bag containing Rs 2200, Oppo earbuds, and clothing was found. Following standard verification protocols, the bag was returned to Abhijit Vishwas of Kalyanpur at 11.30 am.
The passengers expressed appreciation for the staff's efficiency. UPMRC emphasises service excellence and integrity during staff training, ensuring passenger support remains paramount.
