Get to Know 2025 ROH Supercard of Honor Results
Rana Atef Early Saturday, iconic wrestling promotion Ring of Honor organized their first pay-per-view in 2025, Supercard of Honor. The show took place at Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, Texas as part of ROH's sister promotion AEW's All In week. The show featured several AEW Superstars such as Thunder Rosa, Nick Wayne, and the Sons of Texas. The legendary Christian Cage made his first appearance in a ROH show since 2006. Among the anticipated matches in the card was the ROH World title match between the champion Bandido and the Japanese star Konosuke Takeshita. The match was described as one of the best ROH main events in the history. Both stars, who belong to two different origins and wrestling schools, put on a real masterclass in their battle that ended with Bandido retaining his title. In addition, Mexican icon Thunder Rosa delivered a high-quality game with one of the most dominant Women's World Champions, Athena, for the ROH Women's World title. Athena retained her title; in addition, she announced her participation in the Women's Casino Gauntlet match in AEW All In Texas. Mina Shirakawa was crowned an interim ROH Women's World Television champion, as the champion, Red Velvet, is injured. ROH Death before Dishonor to Return to Philly's 2300 Arena
Rana Atef On Tuesday, AEW / ROH President Tony Khan announced that Ring of Honor will make a return to the historic ECW arena in Philadelphia, 2300 Arena. Death Before Dishonor will move the historic Philadelphia based arena to mark the first ROH event at the iconic hall since 2021. Originally, Death Before Dishonor was scheduled to take place at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Friday, July 11, the night before All In Texas from Globe Life Field. AEW Reschedules ROH Supercard of Honor and Death Before Dishonor
All Elite Wrestling has made some changes to its live event schedule, including those connected to ROH. Recently, AEW announced that Ring of Honor, its sister promotion, would be hosting the Supercard of Honor event on Friday, May 2 from Atlantic City, New Jersey. Additionally, ROH Death Before Dishonor was penciled in for Friday, July 11 at the Esports Stadium Arlington in Texas, one day before AEW All In. Advertisement Earlier today, AEW announced that the time and place for both events have changed. ROH Supercard of Honor will now emanate from the Esports Arena in Arlington on July 11. Accordingly, ROH Death Before Dishonor has been moved to the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Friday, September 5. Tickets for the new Supercard of Honor date are now on sale through Refunds for the previously scheduled ROH Supercard Of Honor event in New Jersey are available as well for all points of purchase. Regarding tickets for ROH Death Before Dishonor, that information will be made available in the coming weeks. Under the AEW banner, the company has announced a double taping for AEW Beach Break. The festivities will begin with a live broadcast of AEW Dynamite Wednesday, May 14 from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. A special taping of AEW Collision will accompany it, with tickets currently on sale via AEWTix and Ticketmaster. Advertisement Finally, the AEW Collision event originally slated for Saturday, May 17 at Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas has been canceled. Refunds for this show are available now at all original points of purchase. It's no secret that the weekly Ring of Honor product has a lot of issues, but is another championship title really going to fix things? For some reason, Tony Khan seems to believe that a new championship will bring renewed interest to the product. Advertisement On Saturday night, following AEW Collision, Khan came out in front of the live crowd to introduce a Ring of Honor Women's Pure Championship. A tournament to crown the first champion will kick off at Supercard of Honor next month. You can get your first glimpse of the championship in the embedded post below. This is now the third women's championship on the Ring of Honor roster. While many fans have asked for Khan to introduce Women's Tag Titles for AEW or Ring of Honor, he has elected to debut another singles title instead.
