Global Gamers and Fans Converge in Riyadh for Esports World Cup
RIYADH, Aug 13 (Bernama-SPA) -- The Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh has drawn more than 2,000 players from over 100 countries, along with devoted fans from across the globe whose passion and cultural diversity have become a hallmark of the event.
To bring these supporters closer to the action, the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) launched the 'Superfan Programme', giving loyal followers the chance to experience the championship in the Kingdom, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
EWCF's Superfan Programme Manager Aysel Ahmadova said the initiative honoured elite fans by enabling them to support their clubs from the heart of the event and represent their communities.
