There's a massive Sur La Table sale right now: Get up to 50% off Le Creuset, Staub and more

I once worked feet from a Sur La Table and, in the middle of the day, while most people were off to lunch, I'd quickly hop over to marvel at all of the appliances, cookware and gadgets on display. While I typically only browsed at the time, I always took note of things that I wanted, should they go on sale one day, I'd be ready. Today, you can do exactly the same, minus the daydreaming, since Sur La Table's Summer Warehouse Sale is here. Through tonight, you can get up to 60% off on Le Creuset Dutch ovens, Staub bakeware sets, espresso machines from De Longhi and Breville and more during the sale. Le Creuset 8-quart Signature Round Dutch Oven Le Creuset's Signature Round Dutch Ovens are all cast-iron cookware covered in a durable enamel coating that makes them fit for cooking just about everything — soups, stews, roasts, casseroles and more. The pot, which has a lifetime warranty, comes with handles on each side that make it easy to move between the oven and stove, and it's dishwasher-safe and oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also get it in one of its many iconic colors, including its first one Flame. This bakeware set includes a small (7.5 x 6 x 2 in.), medium (10.5 x 7.5 x 2.4 in.) and large (13 x 9 x 3 in.) enamel-coated stoneware baking dishes, all of which are oven-safe up to over 500 degrees, according to the brand. The set has a lifetime warranty and the pieces are highly resistant to thermal shock, according to Staub, which means they are resistant to cracking when you take them out of a hot oven. They're also microwave- and freezer-safe, so you can store and prep leftovers or meal prep without worry about them getting ruined. De'Longhi's Magnigica Evo espresso machine is ideal for at-home baristas: It has a built-in coffee grinder with 13 settings, milk frother and steamer, measuring scoop, descaler, cleaning brush and removable dishwasher-safe parts. You can use it to make hot and iced coffee and to heat up water on its own. It has a two-year warranty and you can get an extra year if you register the product online at De'Longhi. Another staff-favorite brand, Breville makes some of the best appliances for coffee fans. The Express Impress has a built-in coffee grinder with 25 settings, milk frother and steamer, removable parts you can wash by hand and a hot water outlet you can use to make tea or to rinse your espresso cups. It has a two-year limited warranty, comes with cleaning tablets for descaling and cleaning brush. Zwilling is well known for its durable, high quality stainless steel knife sets, which are perfect for anyone who loves cooking and prepping food at home or as a gift for anyone who wants to get more creative in the kitchen. Flavors Without Borders: International Cooking Classes For Young Chefs

Cooking and baking lessons give kids a confidence that expands far beyond the classroom. Wendy Altschuler Parents who are looking to enroll their kids in a summer camp that is both educational and fun can choose from a variety of cooking and baking classes at select Sur La Table locations. Available for two age groups, kids ages 7—11 and teens ages 12—17, this summer cooking series is perfect for budding chefs who want to learn about global cuisine and baked goods in a lively and communal environment. Sur la Table's Kids & Teens Summer Series is the ultimate passport to the kitchen with hands-on instruction. Catering to a diverse range of abilities and palates, these lessons are immersive and engaging. Choose from a variety of courses, each up to five consecutive days long, which take place during May—August. You can be sure that your kid will gain useful skills in a positive environment, with direct instruction from amiable professional chefs with teaching experience. "My son just finished his 4th Summer Series with Sur La Table and loved it once again,' says parent, Erica M. 'Over the years, he's learned so much from these chefs! From their exploration of different cuisines to their patience and guidance, we're so thankful for the heart and expertise they put into their teaching." Last year, in 2024, the Kids & Teens Summer Series had over 20,000 participants at 55 different locations, according to a press release. Over 100 recipes were taught by professional chefs and educators in small class sizes, expanding the types of foods that kids had previously been exposed to. From inspiring healthy eating habits to improving math skills, these classes made a lasting impact on students and their families. Weekly classes that inspire kids to taste flavors from around the world include dynamic programs like Global Flavors, Taste the World, Sweet & Savory Baking, and Ambitious Recipes. Small group class sizes ensure that your kids will be able to do their best in a helpful and entertaining environment. During each session, kids and teens will learn about kitchen safety, food preparation, recipe development, and more. "Our daughter had a blast in the Teens Baking Summer Series program at Sur La Table,' says parent, Jeanine S. 'We've loved seeing the way her confidence in cooking has transformed!" Ideal for fastidious eaters, these classes do more than just teach children the basics. Expert instruction in a specialized group setting also encourages young ones to try new flavors, pushing their creativity, ambition, and ingenuity to the forefront. You might just find that your child cooks and bakes more at home and not only attempts new recipes, but also, tastes new flavors. When the camp is over, young participants will receive 10% off in-store purchases, a special apron, a graduate certificate of completion, and printed menus so that they can recreate all of their delicious creations at home. Most of all, however, kids will have made new friends and learned newfangled proficiencies, giving them confidence in the kitchen and abroad as they move forward into the new school year.

A Cupid-approved cast iron skillet from Lodge that'll elevate any baked goods you plan to serve this Valentine's Day, whether it be a romantic brownie for two or an awkwardly shaped chicken pot pie. Sur La Table Promising review:"Usually, I'm wary about novelty items/shapes, but this one works amazingly! It's become one of my go-to pans for a solo meal or small sides. It's very light for a cast iron. Easy to clean, easy storage, fast heat up, and the shape doesn't affect how I cook. Makes the best/perfect fried eggs! Love the heart shape!" — Crystal Get it from Sur La Table for $29.95. 2. A hoya heart so you can say "I love you" with greenery. It comes in a plastic container, so you can also pick out the perfect planter. Love an excuse to keep shopping. Hoya hearts are technically single-leaf clippings, so they'll look like this when they grow. Promising review: " The green hoya heart arrived well packaged and fast. They wrapped it so pretty, so it's definitely giftable. It's in great shape, and was happy to get unboxed, a first dose of water, and set next to a window. Love it!" — Ms. Davis Get it from Amazon for $17.99. 3. A set of heart-shaped faux leather bookmarks to encourage them to stop returning your books with dog-eared pages. Now, they can think of you whenever they're at a stopping point in their latest romance novel. Promising review:"I AM OBSESSED WITH THESE! I've sent the link to all my bookworms and told them to buy them! Great gift idea for a 'reader' in your life. Amazing quality and just super cute would definitely buy again and probably will for someone else." — Brianna Get a set of six from Amazon for $6.99+ (available in four styles). 4. Or, if your partner is the one known for lending books, a "from the library of" page embosser or self-inking stamp for the amateur librarian in your life. It'll be the perfect apology gift for all the books you've borrowed and not given back yet. Look, sometimes it's more fun to collect books than read them! Amazon Promising reviews:"I have purchased several custom stamps from this company; fast shipping and quality products make these the best gifts!" — Suzanne "Got this for a friend who loves books and is always loaning them out to other friends. Great quality, and the design was exactly what I ordered and imagined. The time between the order and receiving it was a quick turnaround as well. Talking Hearts — a deck of conversation cards for couples looking to deepen their connection or just pass the time on a long trip. Has added a little more genuine conversation into our weeknights raising two girls." — Derrek & Abby Get it from Amazon for $17.99. 6. A Jellycat plush heart purse for your littlest Valentine (or littlest at heart). While designed for kids, adult reviewers say it easily fits their phone, wallet, keys, and other small essentials. It fits a compact wallet, some lip balm, and keys. Perfect addition to an outfit!" — Cinder Get it from Amazon for $36 (also available in 15 other styles). 7. Lil' red velvet Reese's peanut butter cups that sure beat the weirdly lumpy hearts they also sell this time of year. Also, throwing some loose mini chocolate into a bag (with a real present) really helps fill out the whole gifting experience. Promising review: "It's a great flavor. If you eat it all in one, you might not taste it clearly. But you can easily bite the top off separately, and you'll get a better taste of the red velvet alone. Light vanilla taste. Overall, it's great. And comes with a decent amount of cups." — Hunz Get a bag from Amazon for $4.09. 8. A DIY miniature magic shop model so they can finally run their own (very) small business. The 1:24 scale kit even comes with a mini LED lamp and tiny potion bottles. How magical! Promising review: "The instructions were very clear, and it was easy to put it together. Promising review:"I bought this for my girlfriend's sister, and she loves it! It is incredibly soft and cozy. Fun packaging and nestled safe in styrofoam. Unique Father's Day gift: tested and works perfectly. He's gonna clip it onto his cooler. Great purchase. It's gold-plated (hypoallergenic!) and can also come dusted with zircon for a blingier look. Amazon Promising review: "This charm necklace looks just like one of those bubble letter mylar balloons. It has a substantial, quality weight to it; the crystals are sparkly and look like they aren't going to fall out if bumped. The chain is nice, too. I think this is a fun necklace that looks like it's good quality. Sometimes, when you buy jewelry online, it can look great in photos but feel cheap in person, and this is NOT like that. The dark circles are hardly noticeable. My sensitive skin has not broken out. I never write reviews, but this was so good that I had to write a review. This actually works." — Ben Get it from Amazon for $9.90. 20. A miniature Le Creuset Dutch oven with a heart-shaped knob so cute, they won't even notice you didn't splurge on a full-size model. JK! The tiny size is ideal for baking brie, garlic confit, and teeny-tiny cakes. Promising review: "This was definitely an impulse buy, but I don't regret it. It's adorable. This is currently a small candy dish, and it will probably be switched over to a salt crock after the candy is gone. I love the golden heart handle. I don't think I'll be baking with this since I'm afraid it might alter the color of the gold, but it'll probably be fine with anything baked without the lid. If you're debating, just get one. They're so cute, and you'll find a use for it." — Alissa G. Get it from Amazon for $31.95 (available in four colors). 21. — a book of simple stories to encourage them to be more like Pooh: present and kind. I will be gifting this to everyone I can think of because, at the heart of it, it's about peace of mind and kindness. The short practices are easy to put into use every morning. What's even better is that when I'm reading it, I once again feel some of the happiest moments I had as a child. I've been starting every morning with a couple of pages to get my day moving in the right direction. What an interesting combination of playfulness, joy, and mindful awareness! The illustrations are also stunning. This is a precious gift! Many thanks to Dr. Parent for this beautiful book!" — D. Leon Get it from Amazon for $10.99. 22. A pack of thick crew socks featuring some very snappily-dressed bears inspired by the iconic Ralph Lauren Polo Bear. But UNLIKE clothing graced with the Polo bear, these don't cost hundreds of dollars. Amazon These fit women's sizes 5–10. Promising review: "High recommended! Very soft, warm, and cozy socks. True to size. Cute teddy bear on the side. What a Valentine's Day miracle. :') Terrain Get them from Terrain: the letter dog for $16, the dog couple for $24, and the cat for $16. 24. A Lego orchid with over 600 pieces, so they can really work for their decor. The best part, though, is that once they're finished, the work is actually done, and they don't have to water it. Promising review: "This is a fantastic Lego. Realistic and beautiful. Be ready for compliments on how awesome it is. Typical Lego quality with excellent instructions and high-quality pieces. Easy to assemble for all ages (my 7-year-old built it for my wife as a Mother's Day gift). As is typical for Lego, the pieces all fit well and height and vibrant. When hung on the tree, with the almost invisible string, it truly gives off the illusion of the dove in flight. Gave one to my BFF, and she absolutely loves it! I received the package intact, birds were securely boxed and arrived in perfect condition. Also included with the birds is the authenticity card. Highly recommend!" — MyTai Get them from John Perry on Amazon Handmade for $11.99. 26. A pair of magnetic hand-holding socks for the lovesick partner who likes to be glued at the hip (or ankle). Amazon Promising review:"My sister and I have had so much fun with these socks!!! They are super cute and the magnetic hold really well. The magnets are a bit big so you do notice them but overall super fun and cute." — addison fullmer Get them from Amazon for $7.98+ (available in two colors and in packs of four). 27. A USB-C charging cube that looks like Susan Kare's smiling macintosh that yep, lights up when it's plugged in. They probably already have a charger, but is it this cute??? Amazon, I love, love, love this little charger! It charges my phone unbelievably fast — sometimes, I'll plug my phone in just while I'm going through my nightly routine, and the battery will be 20% fuller by the time I'm done. It lights up when connected to a device and then turns off automatically about two minutes after being disconnected. The screen changes colors depending on what type of charge it's providing (green for super, blue for fast, yellow for normal, and white for none); I'm not 100% sure what affects the charge speed, but I always get the blue light when I charge my iPhone 12. You need to supply your own cord, but I have a million of those anyway. I definitely recommend it as a gift for retro design lovers! Promising review: "So glad I got this! It changes color whenever you charge and the battery charging performance is up to par with a standard Apple charger. Its design is super adorable." — Grace B. Get it from Amazon for $29.99. 28. We laughed while presenting the roses to her like the bachelorette." — Adrienne Get the bouquet from Chewy for $7.99 or the trio from Amazon for $9.99 (also available in 10 other styles). 31. An extra-extra long plushie that pays homage to Longcat, one of the oldest memes in internet history. While your Valentine doesn't need to be old enough to remember "I Can Has Cheezburger?" memes, having a love of the classics will really amplify their excitement for this amazing pillow. I had an old, OLD bag of brown sugar I found in the back of my fridge and figured that I would give it a try. Wow!! It really, really works! Promising review: "I've bought these years ago and decided to buy them again for me and my son. He really enjoyed making the candy/gummies. He was proud of his candy sushi once they were assembled, and of course, he loved eating them. He said they were very yummy. The flavor for all the different little things wasn't bad but my favorite was the 'seaweed,' it tastes just like grape Hi-Chew (my favorite flavor). I recommend buying these at least once for the kids. It's fun and a tasty treat. We will look into the other kinds in the near future." — Blythe Get it from Amazon for $5.39 (also available in a three-pack). Reviews for this post have been edited for length and clarity.
