1 critically injured after crews respond for person going into Surfside Beach-area pond
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — One person has been hospitalized with critical injuries after Horry County Fire Rescue crews responded for reports of a person going into a pond in the Surfside Beach area, the department said Thursday evening.
Crews responded at 7:26 p.m. to the 200 block of Presidential Drive, HCFR said. The incident was under control at about 8:25 p.m., and a person was hospitalized with critical injuries.
Horry County police are investigating. Count on News13 for updates.
