3,000 Free Helmets For Visitors At Kelantan PMR
KOTA BHARU, Aug 7 (Bernama) -- A total of 3,000 helmets will be distributed to visitors of the three-day Kelantan MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR), which kicks off today, said state Road Transport Department (JPJ) head of Road Safety and Corporate Unit Suriati Sulaiman.
She said the free helmet exchange received an overwhelming response from the people, with visitors beginning to queue in front of the Transport Ministry's booth as early as 7.30 am.
'We are distributing a total of 1,000 each day, 600 helmets in the morning session and 400 in the afternoon,' she told Bernama at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, here today.
