Has SurrealEstate Been Renewed for Season 4? As of June 6, 2025, Syfy has not officially confirmed whether SurrealEstate will return for a fourth season. The show's third season premiered recently, and networks typically wait to assess viewership and critical reception before announcing renewals. What Could the Plot of Season 4 Be? While no official plot details for a potential Season 4 have been released, Season 3's developments provide clues about where the story could go: Luke's Supernatural Journey : After regaining his ability to sense spirits in Season 2 and facing a demonic threat in Season 3, Luke's evolving powers could lead to deeper explorations of his past or new paranormal challenges. Luke and Susan's Relationship : The romantic tension between Luke and Susan, described as a significant focus in Season 3, could evolve further, balancing their personal connection with their dangerous work. New Haunted Properties : The show's premise thrives on unique, haunted listings. Season 4 could introduce fresh supernatural mysteries, perhaps tied to the agency's expansion or new characters with paranormal connections. Team Growth: The Roman-Ireland Agency's dynamics could shift, with new partnerships or conflicts among team members as they tackle increasingly complex cases. What Happened in Season 3? SurrealEstate Season 3, which premiered on April 3, 2025, picks up three years after the Season 2 finale with a significant time jump. Luke Roman (Tim Rozon) and Susan Ireland (Sarah Levy) are now partners at the renamed Roman-Ireland Agency, continuing their mission to rid properties of ghostly and demonic entities. SURREALESTATE Season Finale Recap: (S03E10) The Elephant in the Room

SurrealEstate Season 3 Episode 10, 'The Elephant in the Room,' delivers a conclusion to the overarching narrative, effectively putting the Malec stuff to bed. It's wrapped a bit too cleanly for my liking, but that's the nature of this campy, heartwarming show. The real one-two punch is August's death and subsequent funeral. While it comes out of left field, it's very much true to life — death can be sudden and quick. I sincerely hope Maurice Dean Wint continues to appear in some capacity should Syfy renew this series. Luke makes major life moves, buying The Tell-Tale Heart and proposing to Megan. There's something quite final about this season finale; however, that cliffhanger certainly leaves some storytelling room for another season. RELATED: Read our recap of the previous SurrealEstate episode, 'Grave Matters' SurrealEstate, 'The Elephant in the Room' We open with a flashback to 35 years ago. Elvis the Elephant (Patrick Kwok-Choon), aka Malec, persuades kid Luke to bash Carl's brains out, but not before trying to hop into Luke's body. Elvis claims Carl is responsible for Victoria leaving Luke. Time to kill daddy! Luke grabs the bat and wheels Elvis, who's in a wagon, into Carl's bedroom. However, instead of committing patricide, kid Luke swings the bat at Elvis. Carl leaps out of bed and secures the possessed stuffed animal. Then, Carl drives him and Luke to the lake so they can dump Malec there, perpetually trapped inside the security box. Carl reassures his son that Malec can't hurt them anymore. The Laughing Demon In the present day, Luke (Tim Rozon) meets with Susan (Sarah Levy), August (Wint) and Lomax (Elena Juatco) to discuss next steps. They know about Tyler being Malec. Luke sought advice from Phil, who shared that Malec is known as 'The Laughing Demon,' despite hating laughter. Luke explains that Malec's objective is to jump into good people and make them do bad things. RELATED: Our 15 Favorite Wynonna Earp Moments Phil also shared that Auggie's devices won't work as they are without some tweaking. If they fail to stop Malec, he will bifurcate and spread like a virus, going after everyone they love. Phil's old church has the Book of Baphomet, which contains Malec's real name. They must recite his real name as part of the exorcism. Yes, they'll have to exorcise Malec from the real Tyler MacNeil. Next, Luke calls Zooey (Savannah Basley) to ask for a favor. She meets with the priest at the church, who talks homophobic smack about Phil. Thankfully, Zooey is the Queen of Comebacks. She asks to flip through the Book of Baphomet and snap pics of the runes in the church's basement. The priest rejects her. However, Zooey spies two nuns walking by and has an idea. Breaking the Habit and a Breakup Later, Luke notices The Tell-Tale Heart is for sale, so he takes a photo of the signage. After Zooey tells Luke that the priest was a no-go, Megan (Tennille Read) calls him to inform him about his mom. Victoria is in the hospital for her heart. Her friend found her unconscious in her living room. Thankfully, she's stabilized now. RELATED: Wynonna Wednesday: Theories for a Wynonna Earp Season 5 Victoria (Jennifer Dale) asks about Tyler. She admits he was one of the voices she heard back in the day. She recognized his voice. Victoria urges her son to exercise caution. Tyler is dangerous. Luke vows to take care of him. Meanwhile, Auggie meets with Rochelle (Joy Tanner) in her office at ASDRA. He asks for a favor — he needs The God Flosser, the tech the team developed last spring. This request angers Rochelle. She's tired of risking her job and reputation for Auggie and his work. It's become too much. She breaks up with him. Aw. Poor Auggie. Rochelle orders her team to give Auggie everything on the device, though. Elsewhere, Zooey ropes Susan and Lomax into impersonating nuns to infiltrate the church basement and steal the Book of Baphomet. The Book of Baphomet After this, Lomax and Susan don habits before pretending to be nuns. Lomax feels this is sacrilegious. She makes a break for the staircase as the priest Zooey chatted with earlier zeroes in on Susan. In the basement, Lomax retrieves the Book of Baphomet. While she blows off the dust on its cover, Tyler/Malec (R Austin Ball) sneezes. He realizes someone's taking the book before bolting out of his house. RELATED: Geek Girl Authority Crush of the Week: Susan Ireland Susan gives the priest an excuse for leaving, claiming she must tend to the ailing bishop. Once she and Lomax are outside with the book, we see Tyler make a beeline for the entrance. Our pair returns to the Roman Ireland Agency, where they run into Crash (Stephen Huszar). Crash assumes this is the secret Susan has been keeping from him. She explains she's not a nun before they kiss in her office. Hawt. Meanwhile, Luke and Tyler chat in the latter's house. Luke is dedicated to selling Tyler's home at top dollar and finding him a new place. Then, Luke invites Tyler to a get-together with his pals at The Tell-Tale Heart. Midlife Crisis or Midlife Win? After this, Zooey combs through the pages of the Book of Baphomet, searching for Malec's real name, while Auggie tinkers away on The God Flosser. Luke reveals he's thinking about purchasing The Tell-Tale Heart. He wants Auggie to talk him out of it. However, Auggie does the opposite — he encourages Luke to make the buy. RELATED: The Woman in the Yard Spoiler Review Then, Luke gets an update on his mom from Megan. She's still stable, but the hospital wants to keep her a while longer. Luke and Megan go for a stroll. He tells her about purchasing The Tell-Tale Heart before admitting he wants them to get back together. The ball is in her court, though. Later, Luke chats with Lloyd (James Allodi) at The Tell-Tale Heart, a man of few words. He informs the stoic bartender about the upcoming party, which is clearly orchestrated to lure in Malec and exorcise him. After this, Tyler/Malec meets with a dealer, who procures a vial of an unknown but deadly substance. Tyler has plans for Luke's big shindig. Laughing At Him, Not With Him Next, the party hath arrived. Lloyd bartends the proceedings. We learn that The God Flosser, now fashioned as Auggie's Death Ray, will be used to exorcise Malec. Luke calls Zooey, who's still searching for the demon's real name in the book. Meanwhile, Tyler administers the deadly substance into multiple empty champagne flutes. RELATED: Underrated Horror Movie of the Month: Daybreakers Finally, Zooey discovers Malec's true name. She writes it down before fleeing the building, making a beeline for The Tell-Tale Heart. A server hands out champagne to the partygoers before Luke gives a speech. Luke shares that he's proposed to Megan. Did she say 'yes,' though? Presumably. He also cracks some jokes, and the laughter from the group vexes Tyler. Then, Luke makes a toast to his oldest friend, who's hiding in the body of his newest friend. He addresses Malec as Elvis the Elephant. Seven (Karen Knox) appears among the attendees, looking disappointed, as everyone laughs at Tyler. Lots of laughing. It drives him insane. Death's Door Suddenly, Zooey bursts into the bar, yelling, 'Charismalec,' the demon's real name. Then, Auggie switches on the Death Ray, using it to lure Malec out of Tyler's body. The exorcism is complete. The gang attends to Tyler after he collapses, Malec having fled his body. RELATED: Read our Reginald the Vampire recaps Next, Lomax explains that she noticed the champagne flutes looked strange, to which Lloyd told her that Malec added poison to them. Thankfully, she and Lloyd swapped the glasses to save the group. Later, Auggie returns home and leaves Rochelle a voicemail. He hopes they can talk soon. However, Death (Hannah Cheesman) pays Auggie an unexpected visit. 'I thought I had more time,' he says. We hear Auggie's glass break from outside the house. Oh, no. RIP, August Ripley. Goodbye, Auggie Our crew attends the funeral service for Auggie. Luke delivers a speech at the graveside. We see Auggie's daughters flanking Luke. Even Rita (Alison Brooks) is among the mourners. Zooey, Susan, Lomax, Luke and Rochelle quote Auggie's favorite philosophers and writers. It's an emotional punch to the gut. RELATED: 10 Out-of-This-World Predictions for Resident Alien Season 4 During the wake, Susan reassures Luke that they'll be okay before she and Crash depart. Megan asks Luke if he'll be okay. He claims he'll see her later. They kiss and exchange 'I love yous' before parting ways. Luke asks Lloyd to let him close the bar. After this, Luke talks to Auggie while holding a framed photo of him. He's desperate to see his friend. He assumes he won't, though, because if anyone has the most finished business, it's August Ripley. Luke wipes the counter and turns off the lights, preparing to leave. Then, he admits he wants to hear Auggie's voice. Someone, presumably Auggie, says, 'Turn around.' Luke whirls around, but we don't see what he sees. Is it really Auggie? Is he gonna stick around as a ghost? Here's hoping we get a Season 4. RELATED: Read our SurrealEstate recaps Seasons 1 through 3 of SurrealEstate are now streaming on Hulu.

SURREALESTATE Recap: (S03E09) Grave Matters

SurrealEstate Season 3 Episode 9, 'Grave Matters,' showcases a dangerous yet creative scavenger hunt as our heroes race against time to retrieve a password in a cemetery, all from a ghostly client who doesn't want them to leave it alive. Tyler/Malec tracks down Luke's mom for what'll undoubtedly culminate in a tense showdown between Luke and his former childhood friend. Rita gets some much-needed development. All in all, it's a spirited, entertaining penultimate outing for the season, and it pushes us narratively toward the finale. RELATED: Read our recap of the previous SurrealEstate episode, 'Perchance to Dream' SurrealEstate, 'Grave Matters' We open with Luke (Tim Rozon) chatting with his mother, Victoria (Jennifer Dale). He has Elvis the Elephant on the counter between them. Victoria explains that Luke and Elvis were inseparable. She and Carl didn't want to break them apart. Victoria assumed Luke had an imaginary friend and that that was normal. She'd often observe while her young son talked to Elvis. She admits she wasn't in the best place, though. Then, Luke remarks that his mom hears those voices, too. Victoria adds that while yes, she can, she can't communicate with them like Luke can. Luke gets a text from Rita Weiss, urging him to meet her at his office. He and his mom part ways for now. SURREALESTATE — 'Grave Matters' Season 3 Episode 9 — Pictured: Tim Rozon as Luke Roman — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) Puzzles and Riddles After this, Rita (Alison Brooks) introduces Luke to Stephanie, whose father, Magnus, just passed away. Stephanie chats with them via video. She reveals her dad was a big fan of puzzles. Her inheritance was locked under a password that she had to jump through hoops to access every year. Well, the same thing now applies to Magnus' will, which requires a password to read. Thankfully, he's left a treasure trove of word puzzles for her to solve, leading to the password. RELATED: Our 15 Favorite Wynonna Earp Moments Unfortunately, Stephanie has until midnight to access her dad's will. If she can't recover the password, Magnus' lavish mansion will, as Rita eloquently puts it, be seized by the government for tax purposes. Rita proposes that Luke and his merry band of miscreants retrieve the password to unlock the will. Then, she and Luke can split the commission from the sale of the mansion. Luke demands a 50/50 split and won't help Rita otherwise. She reluctantly agrees to this. Later, Luke sits with Susan (Sarah Levy), August (Maurice Dean Wint) and Lomax (Elena Juatco). He explains the deal. Susan insists this will be a walk in the park for them. Plus, Mangus' mansion is a pretty big get for the Roman Ireland Agency (half the commission from it, anyway). To the Cemetery We Go The first clue is from Magnus' attorney, which points to a cemetery. Luke offers to track down the location of Mangus' gravestone while our trio heads to Weeping Willows Cemetery to crack the next puzzle. Before she leaves, Susan chats with Luke about reuniting with Megan. She told Susan that she and Luke were on the outs. Luke claims they've been apart longer than they were together. It's no biggie. Luke asks Susan about Crash, and she lights up. He doesn't know about her being pyrokinetic and telekinetic, but she'll tell him when the time is right. RELATED: Wynonna Wednesday: Theories for a Wynonna Earp Season 5 Later, Rita arrives at Mangus' home. Luke calls her. The ringtone she has for him is hilarious — your stereotypical circus theme music. He asks if she can check with Stephanie about the location of her father's gravestone. Rita uses this opportunity to ask about Tyler MacNeil. Perhaps he would be interested in purchasing this place. Luke advises Rita not to get into bed — of the real estate persuasion, of course — with Tyler. SURREALESTATE — 'Grave Matters' Season 3 Episode 9 — Pictured: Alison Brooks as Rita Weiss — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) After getting off the phone with Luke, Rita runs into none other than Magnus (Wayne Best). Well, his ghost. Naturally, this scares the crap out of her. Meanwhile, Susan, Auggie and Lomax are in the cemetery. There, they meet Zara (Caleigh Le Grand), an eccentric character who claims she just started working at the cemetery. Lomax sniffles, her trademark tick that indicates her Spidey senses are tingling. Like Charlie Cale in Poker Face , this is how Lomax calls bullsh*t when someone's lying. If They Live That Long Anyway, our trio claims they're searching for good ole Poppy's gravestone. Zara knows precisely where Magnus' grave is located. I kinda hope this character returns somehow. She's kooky enough to fit in this world. At the same time, Rita discovers she can't leave the house. Magnus is holding her prisoner. Rita tries to persuade him to disclose the password to his will. She boasts that her people will uncover it one way or another, though. 'Only if they live that long,' he warns. How ominous. RELATED: Geek Girl Authority Crush of the Week: Susan Ireland Then, Lomax recites a riddle, which is etched into Magnus' gravestone. It claims the next clue is with the band, 'but say goodbye to your right hand.' Auggie stoops to grab something as a metal trap springs forth, almost lopping off his right hand. Susan tries to call Luke to warn him that Mangus' games are quite deadly. However, none of them have a cell signal in the cemetery. SURREALESTATE — 'Grave Matters' Season 3 Episode 9 — Pictured: (l-r) Elena Juatco as Clytemnestra Lomax, Sarah Levy as Susan Ireland, Maurice Dean Wint as August Ripley — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) Auggie declares they should continue solving clues, since time is of the essence. It dawns on Lomax where the next clue is based on the 'with the band' part of the previous riddle. Auggie and Susan follow her. Elsewhere, Rita asks for clarification. Are Luke's employees (and co-partner) in danger? One Happy Memory Mangus explains that he didn't have a good relationship with his daughter. Stephanie didn't have his drive to succeed. He pulled himself up by his bootstraps and made something of himself, accruing massive wealth over the decades. Magnus orchestrated these elaborate puzzles and riddles so she'd apply herself. This postmortem puzzle for the password is more or less so she'd feel remorse over his passing. RELATED: The Woman in the Yard Spoiler Review Rita asks Magnus if he has a happy memory with Stephanie. Initially, Magnus vehemently says 'No,' until he really thinks about it. He regales Rita with a story from Stephanie's childhood. He had tea with her and her stuffed animal. They enjoyed each other's company. It was transient, but nice. Next, Rita reveals that her first husband wanted children badly, but she didn't. Then, her second and third husbands had no interest in children because they were children themselves. Magnus and Rita share a drink together. Just because he's dead doesn't mean he can't still party. Not for the Living Later, Lomax, Auggie and Susan wind up in front of a gravestone that looks like it's for a band. Suddenly, an arrow whizzes past them, burrowing into another plot a few feet away. Auggie unfurls a piece of paper fastened around the arrow. It's another riddle. This time, our trio must wait until dark and walk 60 yards to a 'house not for the living' — a mausoleum. RELATED: Underrated Horror Movie of the Month: Daybreakers After dark, Auggie reads the next riddle on the door of a mausoleum. They need a key, which they find around the neck of a Jesus statue. Before they retrieve it, though, Auggie tests the space before it to ensure there's no trap. He tosses a vase with dead flowers, which, inevitably, fall through a trap door in front of the statue. A makeshift grave. SURREALESTATE — 'Grave Matters' Season 3 Episode 9 — Pictured: (l-r) Elena Juatco as Clytemnestra Lomax, Maurice Dean Wint as August Ripley — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) Next, Luke tries to call Lomax, Auggie and Susan. They all go straight to voicemail. I love how different they all are. Auggie quotes Gandhi, Susan's voicemail message is also pretty clever and Lomax's is straight to the point. No muss, no fuss. Hers is my fave. Then, Rita calls Luke. The ringtone he has for her is 'The Imperial March.' Perfection. 14 Minutes Rita, now a few drinks in, informs Luke that his team is in danger. However, when she tries to specify how, Magnus interferes with the cell signal, cutting Luke off. RELATED: Read our Reginald the Vampire recaps After retrieving the key, our trio unlocks the mausoleum door. Inside, Susan reads the next riddle. There's only one stone left, and it bears an eye. There, they'll find the password. However, they're now trapped in the mausoleum with only 14 minutes left of oxygen. They're about to run out of air. We see a clock count down their limited time. Uh-oh. Then, Rita and Mangus laugh over drinks. She pivots back to the sale of his mansion, revealing she has a multimillionaire in mind for it. She offers to reach out to Tyler that night so Magnus can deprive Stephanie of the house. Magnus admits that telling the tea time story reminded him that there's still good in his daughter. He orders Rita to leave so he can think. SURREALESTATE — 'Grave Matters' Season 3 Episode 9 — Pictured: (l-r) Elena Juatco as Clytemnestra Lomax, Sarah Levy as Susan Ireland, Maurice Dean Wint as August Ripley — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) A Reverse Ping Later, Luke arrives at the cemetery. He uses his abilities to detect Susan, Auggie and Lomax. However, instead of looking for ghosts, he reverses it — he searches for the living among a sea of dead. A gnip instead of a ping . Luke unlocks the door to the mausoleum and frees our trio before their time (and oxygen) runs out. RELATED: 10 Out-of-This-World Predictions for Resident Alien Season 4 Meanwhile, Rita visits Tyler/Malec (R Austin Ball) and offers to show him Magnus' home. Tyler admits that Luke has been busy of late. Rita remarks that Luke was visiting his mother that morning. Priorities, right? The mention of Luke's mom clearly flicks on a lightbulb in Tyler's head. He invites Rita in for a chat. Elsewhere, Susan asks Auggie for advice about breaking the truth to Crash. How does she tell him about her powers and her spooky job? Auggie admits it was easy to be honest with Rochelle because she was used to coming up against impossible odds. Susan calls him a lucky guy, to which Auggie responds that he was. Hmm. Are they no longer together? Don't Wait At the same time, Luke gets the location of the gravestone with the eye, where the password is. From whom, you might ask? The ghost of an older woman who passed away. She asks Luke if he's seen her husband. Luke learns that this woman and her husband spent their whole lives in love with each other, but never acted on their feelings. It was never the right time. When they finally wed, she thought they had all the time in the world … until she died. The moral of the story? Don't wait to tell someone how you feel. RELATED: TV Review: Resident Alien Season 4 Later, Luke reunites with Rita at Magnus' mansion. It's two minutes to midnight, but he has the password. On the gravestone with the eye, we see the password spells out, 'Steph, you will hate this,' but in a series of letters, numbers and symbols. However, the password unlocks Magnus' will. And guess what? Steph will hate this. She's not getting the house. Rita persuades Magnus to reconsider his choice. Why not make his last act on Earth a benevolent one? Surely, that'll drive Stephanie crazy. Magnus asks Rita to retrieve an alternate copy of his will from one of his encyclopedias, one in which Stephanie inherits everything, including the mansion. He signed it and everything when he was feeling more magnanimous. He approves of this will going into effect. Then, he vanishes, his business finished. SURREALESTATE — 'Grave Matters' Season 3 Episode 9 — Pictured: (l-r) Wayne Best as Magnus, Alison Brooks as Rita Weiss — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) Mending Fences and Kidnapping Moms Next, Luke meets with Megan (Tennille Read). He tells her he loves her. He's always loved her. Luke doesn't want to regret not taking the chance to fight for her. Sure, she's in a relationship, but when is love ever on time? Now, the ball's in Megan's court. At the same time, Rita leaves a voicemail for her daughter, Madeline. She lied about having a child. She hopes to meet Mads for coffee sometime. Aww, I like that we're getting more depth for Rita. She's not just Luke's mustache-twirling, Machiavellian archnemesis. RELATED: Read our SurrealEstate recaps Finally, Tyler winds up on Victoria's doorstep. He claims Luke is in trouble. And Victoria wouldn't abandon her son again, would she? She tries to slam the door on him, but Tyler/Malec is too strong. He muscles his way inside. SurrealEstate drops new episodes every Thursday at 10 pm EST on Syfy. After Schitt's Creek, Sarah Levy turns to selling haunted homes

Sarah Levy has been thinking about what the word "home" really means. For her character Susan Ireland on the spooky Canadian TV series SurrealEstate, a home is a house where someone's soul lives. Literally: Susan is a real estate agent who removes ghosts from haunted houses so that she can sell them. But for Levy, a home isn't about a specific location. She says home can be anywhere in the world, as long as she's with the people she loves. "It's just, it's where your family is," Levy tells Q guest host Talia Schlanger in an interview. "Wherever your family is, that's kind of where you can create what home is for you. And it turns out you don't need all your things." Sarah Levy has a close-knit, comedic family. Her dad is Eugene Levy, her brother is Dan Levy, and all three of them were on the Emmy Award-winning show Schitt's Creek. Nonetheless, she says the main origin of her sense of humour is her mother. "We learned a lot from my dad, but we learned way more from my mom," Levy says. "And I think that he would agree with that. Just in life even. "But her sense of comedy is so dry. And it rides a really wonderful line… we've learned how to just cut through the crap and get to the core of things."Although she enjoyed being on Schitt's Creek with her father and brother, Levy is happy to step into the spotlight on her own. She has a leading role as a telekinetic ghostbuster on SurrealEstate, which airs on CTV Sci-Fi Channel and Syfy. WATCH | Preview of SurrealEstate's Season 3 premiere: "Our shooting schedule is so rigorous. The days are so long. And we move really fast, and we shoot a lot of pages," Levy explains. "It's incredibly challenging in the best way… it is so immense and it was a huge learning curve. But I had, and I still have the most fun doing it." Sarah Levy's schedule isn't just busy with work: she also gave birth to her son right before she started the second season of SurrealEstate. But Levy says she still feels at home, even while shooting on location. "My parents, being the most wonderful parents and grandparents in the universe, came with us to Newfoundland and essentially raised him for the time that I was working," Levy says. "My son is obsessed with both my parents... my dad is so good at the imagination aspect of things, like really gets down on his level. And it's such a joy to be able to watch both of them."

SURREALESTATE Recap: (S03E08) Perchance to Dream

'To sleep — perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub!' SurrealEstate Season 3 Episode 8, 'Perchance to Dream,' cleverly incorporates dreams into the ghostly narrative, complete with haunted bricks and gold treasure. It's a fun follow-up after last week's tragic cliffhanger. Luke also finally discovers the truth — Tyler was trying to kill Susan, and he's Elvis the Elephant. Now, he can focus on vanquishing his most formidable foe yet. Additionally, the agency grieves Tag, and the late 'Answer Guy' does one last kindness for Susan and encourages her to free herself from blame. RELATED: Read our recap of the previous SurrealEstate episode, 'A Slice of Afterlife' SurrealEstate, 'Perchance to Dream' We open with Susan (Sarah Levy) driving Tag (Alex Ozerov-Meyer) to his new home in the cemetery. He exits her car and walks toward his grave, which has a placard boasting Susan's Roman Ireland Agency photo on it. A woman (Patrice Goodman), who was sitting in the backseat of Susan's vehicle, moves to the passenger seat after Tag departs. She begins choking Susan. Thankfully, Susan wakes up after the nightmare. However, she notices bruises on her throat courtesy of Mystery Woman. The following morning, Luke (Tim Rozon), August (Maurice Dean Wint) and Lomax (Elena Juatco) meet at the agency. They mourn the loss of Tag. Auggie quotes the Scottish play. (Funny, since this episode title is a nod to Hamlet .) Luke thanks Lomax because her family's funeral home has stepped in to care for Tag. SURREALESTATE — 'Perchance to Dream' Season 3 Episode 8 — Pictured: Maurice Dean Wint as August Ripley — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) Eccentric to the Last We learn that Tag doesn't want a memorial service. His will dictates that his cremated remains will be scattered in the Altiplano, a plateau in Peru, to be among the scat of the alpaca in their native land. He also wants a few hundred thousand pesos to be given to an Indigenous Chilean huaso as compensation for spreading his ashes. That's how you do it — you go out in style and ensure marginalized communities benefit. RELATED: Our 15 Favorite Wynonna Earp Moments Susan arrives, much to everyone's surprise. Luke reassures her that it's okay to take time off to grieve. However, she'd rather work. Lomax and Auggie voice echo her statement. After this, Susan visits Dorothy Kamara's residence. Dorothy died of a cardiac event in her sleep. The Roman Ireland Agency plans to put her home on the market. Lomax enters undetected, scaring Susan. She urges Susan to let her see to the Kamara property. Susan can spend time at the house they just renovated before they sell it. Then, they discuss Dorothy. The bank had no record of a checking or savings account. She was a software engineer, so she undoubtedly made good money. Where is it? Lomax remarks that the late Dorothy's house is bereft of personal effects. We Did It Later, Susan pours a glass of wine for herself and her late mother while sitting on the porch of the house she and Lomax renovated. They have buyers for it, too. Consider this a successful flip. Crash (Stephen Huszar) surprises Susan with peonies. He vows to be there for her if she needs it. She's touched by this gesture and asks him to call her later. RELATED: Wynonna Wednesday: Theories for a Wynonna Earp Season 5 After he leaves, Susan hears screaming emanating from the house. That's when she reads Tag's research — those bricks they got from Lomax's guy used to be from a mental institution. Welp, looks like the house is off the market for now. Said woman cuts Lomax open, as if to prepare her for a funeral service. She pulls out a handful of gold coins from Lomax's stomach. Ew. Lomax wakes up screaming. She finds a cut near her carotid, and it's still bleeding. The following day, Auggie conducts a PKT in Dorothy's backyard. They discuss Lomax's terrifying nightmare. Can You Dig It? Auggie observes that our dreams are often trying to tell us something. He usually interprets a dream as auspicious, especially if he has the same dream consecutively. Then, Auggie reveals he has a dual reading from the PKT, which is unusual. Side note: We need more Auggie/Lomax adventures. Let's work on this dynamic. RELATED: Geek Girl Authority Crush of the Week: Susan Ireland Next, Auggie is in his workspace at Roman Ireland. The phone rings. He picks it up. Someone, a woman, asks him on the other end if he can 'dig it.' He finds himself in Dorothy Kamara's backyard. The woman returns with a pickaxe. Auggie, armed with a shovel, proceeds to dig where 'X' marks the spot. The woman joins him. We see their faces bathed in a golden light as whatever they find below ground appears to be quite valuable. Suddenly, Auggie wakes up in his workspace. Now, he's also dreamt about this woman. We see he has dirt on his hands from digging. Susan enters, informing him about the haunted bricks in her renovated house. She asks Auggie to investigate. He remarks that haunted bricks can be a thing if the place they originated from experienced significant trauma. No Guarantees Elsewhere, Luke stops by Tag's apartment. He wants to learn what made Tag, a bona fide homebody, leave his home. Luke finds the piece of toast with Tyler/Malec's face on one side and 'Susan Ireland RIP' on the other. It dawns on him — the car was meant for Susan, not Tag. RELATED: The Woman in the Yard Spoiler Review Meanwhile, Susan shows Auggie the brick accent wall in her renovated house. It's acting up now. We see scratch marks and hear screams. Bricks are flung from said accent wall across the hallway, seemingly of their own volition. Totally normal. At the same time, Luke meets with Tyler/Malec (R Austin Ball) at The Tell-Tale Heart. Obviously, Luke knows Tyler is behind the hit-and-run that killed Tag. He informs Tyler about one of his employees dying and asks the latter if he knew Tag. SURREALESTATE — 'Perchance to Dream' Season 3 Episode 8 — Pictured: Tim Rozon as Luke Roman — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) Tyler cranks up the dickwad energy, dismissing Tag's death as inconsequential. Naturally, this doesn't sit well with Luke. Tyler offers unsolicited advice: nothing in life is guaranteed. Perhaps Tag was meant to die. (Ew.) Tyler claims he tried to give Luke a helping hand out of his 'mediocre' life. While Luke sits there, stunned, emotional and angry, Tyler tries to inhabit his body. We see the 'X's,' like those in Elvis the Elephant's eyes, flash across Tyler's eyes. However, Luke looks up before Tyler can make the leap. He storms out. The Window Is Closing After this, Seven (Karen Knox) confronts Malec at the golf course. She asks Malec for an update regarding Luke. Malec realizes that grief is his way into Luke's body. That's how he seizes control. Not exhaustion or inebriation — grief. Seven warns Malec that the window is closing. Malec urges her to keep his place open on the higher plane. Seven fires back that she doesn't need to remind him of the repercussions should Malec fail. RELATED: Underrated Horror Movie of the Month: Daybreakers After this, Lomax and Luke enter Dorothy's home. They discover a photo of Dorothy with a girl named Lydia, dated October 2023. It dawns on Lomax that Dorothy is the woman from all their dreams. Luke understands how Lomax and Auggie's dreams featuring Dorothy factor in — Auggie digging for treasure, Dorothy pulling gold coins from Lomax's stomach — but what about Susan's dream? SURREALESTATE — 'Perchance to Dream' Season 3 Episode 8 — Pictured: Elena Juatco as Clytemnestra Lomax — (Photo by: Albert Camicioli/SE3 Productions Inc./SYFY) Then, the gang reunites at Roman Ireland. Susan, Auggie and Lomax describe their dreams to Luke. Luke assumes Dorothy is angry at them because they're real estate agents. She doesn't want her house to be sold. Susan and Lomax head out to meet with Lomax's brick guy while Luke and Auggie return to Dorothy's house to conduct more tests. Hit the Bricks Later, Viktor (Nigel Hamer), Lomax's brick guy, washes his hands of the situation. He believes he's not responsible for what the bricks do once they've been purchased. Perhaps it's how they were installed? Susan's about to take Viktor out when Lomax stops her, insisting he's not worth it. RELATED: Read our Reginald the Vampire recaps Auggie and Luke dig where the 'X' was in Auggie's dream. Sure enough, they find buried treasure — gold. Meanwhile, Susan and Lomax drink coffee while the bricks go hog wild behind them. Susan thinks she's let everyone down, including her late mom. With this delay, the buyers might pull out. Lomax comforts her. That night, Luke has a dream. Since everyone who entered Dorothy's house dreamt of her, we can assume Luke's next. However, he meets Lydia (Destiny Heidi-Ke Stewart). She orders Luke to stay away from Dorothy. We learn that Dorothy sponsored Lydia, who's from Liberia. They forged a strong connection. Lydia reveals her dream was to attend school, and Dorothy vowed to help her achieve that dream. Dorothy was going to support Lydia and other girls like her financially. He heads back to Dorothy's house and instantly feels her presence. She emerges, putting a knife to his throat. Dorothy demands to know where her money is. Luke reminds her this isn't a dream; if she hurts someone, they stay hurt. Dorothy explains she didn't have family or friends. She kept to herself. She also had a high-paying job and saved her money. RELATED: 10 Out-of-This-World Predictions for Resident Alien Season 4 However, Dorothy didn't trust banks, so she converted her wealth into gold. After connecting with Lydia, Dorothy continued saving money, planning to give it to her and many other girls who needed it. But death derailed her plans. Luke reveals that Dorothy must relinquish her gold to move on. That's what's keeping her here. He reveals he's researched organizations in Liberia that are doing wonderful work. Luke would ensure that Dorothy's several million dollars' worth of gold gets to those organizations. It would make their dreams come true. An emotional Dorothy thanks him. We learn that someone associated with Susan threatened to leak Viktor's illegal doings. Susan promises to keep his secrets if his fellas can fix her wall (with non-haunted bricks). RELATED: Read our SurrealEstate recaps Viktor reveals this person didn't disclose his name, but he left a business card. He hands it to Susan. We see it's Tag's card. The embossed gold gleams on it. Viktor relays a message from Tag, urging Susan not to worry about anything. It's all good. Susan smiles. Later, Tyler and Luke chat on the phone. Tyler apologizes for his behavior at The Tell-Tale Heart. 'Something's gonna kill ya,' Tyler says, and this isn't the first time he's rattled off this aphorism. Luke clocks this, too. Peonies and Elephants Susan reunites with Crash and asks him how he knew peonies were her favorite flower. Crash admits he planned to buy her roses, but a voice whispered 'Buy the pink ones' in his ear. Clearly, this is her mom's work. Susan kisses him. Awww. That night, Luke dreams he's sitting in the agency, Elvis the Elephant before him. Elvis talks to him (voiced by Patrick Kwok-Choon, who played Duncan in Season 1 and voiced the Smart House in Season 2). 'Something's gonna kill ya,' Elvis says ominously. Luke wakes up and realizes that Tyler/Malec is Elvis the Elephant. SurrealEstate drops new episodes every Thursday at 10 pm EST on Syfy.
