Jagannatha Puri Rath Yatra 2025: Significance
According to the Hindu Scripture, this day holds a great religious and spiritual significance among Hindus.
This is an extremely powerful day when Lord Jagannatha comes out of the sanctorum in a chariot to bless the devotees, who come and participate in the Ratha Yatra just to have a glimpse of the Lord. He sees all the devotees and bless them with all the worldly pleasures and spiritual enlightenment. It is also believed that as per Bamadev Sanhita, devotees who have a glimpse of the Lord Jagannatha, Lord Sudarshan, Balabhadra and Subhadra at the Gundicha temple for seven long days, they attain salvation after death and directly goes to Vaikuntha Dham.
