JMR Unveils Star-studded Suzuka 1000 Lineup
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 (Bernama) -- Multi-time Australian Supercars champion and American IndyCar racer Scott McLaughlin, along with Corvette Racing factory drivers Nicky Catsburg and Alexander Sims, will join a star-studded Johor Motorsports Racing (JMR) Team line-up for the 2025 Suzuka 1000 endurance race in Japan from Sept 12-14.
In a statement today, Johor Racing said McLaughlin, Catsburg and Sims will represent JMR's Pro team, while Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ibrahim and Tunku Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar Sultan Ibrahim will partner Finnish driver Konsta Lappalainen in the Pro-Am class.
'Both the Pro and Pro-Am teams will drive the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R that the team used to win races and take podiums in this year's 2025 GT World Challenge Asia championship,' it said.
