Suzuki India revamps scooter lineup with new Avenis and Access 125. Here's what's new
Suzuki Motorcycles India has revamped its scooter lineup with the updated Avenis and Access 125 models. The Japanese two-wheeler giant has launched the 2025 Suzuki Avenis at a price of ₹91,400 (ex-showroom). Also, the OEM has launched the 2025 Suzuki Access with an updated colour TFT display, at a price of Rs. 101,900 (ex-showroom). The Indian two-wheeler market has a wide range of scooters sold by various major brands, including Hero MotoCorp, Honda, Suzuki, TVS, etc. While Honda and Hero are the leading players, Suzuki is aiming to grab a larger chunk in this space. It is priced at ₹91,400 (ex-showroom). The standard variant of the new Avenis scooter now comes with an OBD-2B emission norms-compliant powertrain. The new Suzuki Avenis' Standard variant is available in four different colour options, which are - Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White, Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No. 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, and Glossy Sparkle Black. Powering the all-new Suzuki Avenis Standard variant is a 124.3 cc, all-aluminium four-stroke, single-cylinder engine. It delivers a maximum power output of 8.58 bhp at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. Suzuki Motorcycles India has also launched a new Ride Connect TFT Edition of its most popular scooter in the Indian market, which is the Access 125. This is the new top-spec model of the Suzuki Access 125 scooter, which is available at a price tag of ₹101,900 (ex-showroom). This makes it ₹6,800 more expensive than the Ride Connect variant of the Access 125 with an LCD console. The new Suzuki Access 125 comes equipped with a 4.2-inch multi-function colour TFT screen with the function to connect it to the rider's smartphone via Bluetooth. Suzuki has also introduced a new Pearl Mat Aqua Silver colour option, which will be sold alongside the existing shades, including Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White and Solid Ice Green. Powering this scooter is a 125 cc, single-cylinder engine that is now OBD-2B-compliant and produces 8.3 bhp power and 10.2 Nm torque.

2025 Suzuki Access 125 launched. Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2025 iteration of its popular scooter Access 125, now featuring a new top-spec Ride Connect TFT variant. The model is priced at Rs 1.02 lak, ex-showroom. Priced from ₹ 83,800, it meets Euro 5+ standards. The Suzuki Access 125 is available in three variants: Standard, Special, and Ride Connect Edition. Colour options include Solid Ice Green, Pearl Shiny Beige, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, and Metallic Mat Black No. 2. The Suzuki Avenis OBD-2B is priced at ₹ 93,200, excluding showroom charges. Additionally, a new Special Edition in Metallic Matte Black No. 2 and Matte Titanium Silver is available for ₹ 94,000, also ex-showroom. The standard version comes in four colour variations: Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No. 2 with Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black with Pearl Glacier White, and Glossy Sparkle Black alone. This engine is engineered to deliver a cleaner and more efficient riding experience while retaining its signature quick acceleration and agile handling. It produces 8.5 bhp at 6,750 rpm and reaches a peak torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It also includes Suzuki's Eco Performance (SEP) technology along with advanced fuel injection systems. The newly updated Suzuki Burgman Street starts at ₹ 96,399 (ex-showroom). It is available in two variants: the Standard Edition and the Ride Connect. The base variant offers seven color options: Metallic Matte Black No. 2 (YKC), Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Pearl Matte Shadow Green, and Pearl Moon Stone Grey (exclusive to the Standard Edition). The upgraded Burgman is equipped with the same all-aluminum, 4-stroke, single-cylinder 124.3cc OBD-2B compliant engine found in the Suzuki Avenis. The power output remains the same, delivering 8.5 bhp and 10 Nm of peak torque. The Suzuki Gixxer SF range starts at ₹ 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The Gixxer SF is powered by a 155 cc single-cylinder engine tuned for 13.4 bhp and 13.8 Nm of peak torque, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 utilises a 249 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine producing 26.1 bhp and 22.2 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Suzuki V-Strom SX is priced at ₹ 2.16 lakh, ex-showroom. Suzuki emphasises that its expedition showcased the capabilities of the V-Strom SX, which features a 250 cc oil-cooled engine and the innovative Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) technology. This engine delivers 26 bhp and generates a peak torque of 22.2 Nm, combined with a 6-speed transmission. Weighing 167 kg, the manufacturer claims that the V-Strom SX can effectively navigate a variety of terrains, including both paved and unpaved roads, even in freezing conditions. The adventure tourer is designed for an upright riding position and comes equipped with dual-purpose semi-block pattern tires.
