Tirupati's Gross Development Product to rise by 16.69%: Anam Ramanarayana Reddy
Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy on Friday (August 15) said Tirupati district's Gross Development Product (GDP) is estimated to rise by 16.69%. from the present ₹91,478 crore to ₹1,69,633 crore.
Addressing the public after hoisting the National Flag on the occasion of Independence Day here along with District Collector S. Venkateswar, Superintendent of Police V. Harshavardhan Raju and legislators, he said the average individual income is projected to touch ₹6,01,297 by the end of 2028-29, and plans are afoot to achieve the same by drafting vision plans at constituency and mandal levels.
The Minister said the NDA government has fulfilled its 'Super Six' promises made ahead of the elections.
Tableaux bag prizes
The tableau presented by the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) bagged the first prize. The tableau jointly presented by the DRDA and MEPMA bagged the second prize, while the Agriculture department's tableau came third. A special jury award was presented to Panchayat Department and APSPDCL for their presentation on 'Swarna Naravaripalle'.
Similarly, the stalls set up by Animal Husbandry, DWMA and ICDS respectively bagged the first, second and third prizes.
