Remi Bader thinks fashion should feel good. She rose to prominence on TikTok in 2021 with her viral 'realistic haul' videos, calling out popular clothing brands for their inconsistent and often exclusionary sizing. In the years since, the 30-year-old content creator has amassed 2.2 million followers on the platform, becoming a prominent voice in the movement for size inclusivity—all while refusing to be confined by expectations around body image or health.
This year, Bader spoke openly about her struggles with binge eating, mental health challenges, her experience with weight loss medications and surgery, and the scrutiny she's faced as her appearance has changed. In June, she walked the runway at Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Runway Show in Miami and shared a message with her followers: "Last night, I simply just stood for every girl or woman who's felt lost about where she belongs, but still chooses to show up and put herself out there no matter what,' she wrote on Instagram. 'And for once, that was enough for me.'
