PM directs Naqvi to launch Gwadar Safe City project
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday directed Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi to start work on the Gwadar Safe City project. In a meeting with the prime minister, he briefed him on the new policy devised for the devotees visiting holy sites in Iran and Iraq. Iran eases visa rules for Pakistani Zaireen The prime minister, on the occasion, directed the minister for aviation to arrange special flights for the devotees. The minister also briefed PM Shehbaz on the law and order situation in Balochistan.

Interior minister calls for international probe into Pahalgam, Jaffarabad incidents
Listen to article Pakistan has offered India a joint investigation into the recent attack in Pahalgam, proposing the formation of an international committee comprising neutral experts to ensure a transparent inquiry, Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Saturday. Speaking at a press conference at the Federal Investigation Agency's district office, Naqvi stated, "We have proposed to India to conduct a transparent investigation into the Pahalgam and Jaffarabad incidents. We are ready to present evidence to a neutral committee." Naqvi alleged that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) were "one and the same," claiming that evidence linked India to acts of terrorism in Pakistan's Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. "Pakistan's economic stability is intolerable for India," Naqvi said. "The world must see how the country that claims to be the largest democracy is using terrorism to achieve its objectives." Naqvi stressed that Pakistan had no connection to any form of terrorism, whether directly or indirectly. He reiterated Pakistan's unwavering stance on the Kashmir dispute, calling for a resolution according to United Nations resolutions. "The freedom movement in Kashmir is a local and indigenous struggle," Naqvi said. Highlighting security efforts, Naqvi revealed that Pakistani authorities had foiled 160 IED attacks over the past three days. He also criticised India for failing to condemn terrorist incidents occurring within Pakistan. Commenting on the Pahalgam incident, Naqvi said Pakistan would expose "this drama" and bring the real facts to the attention of the world. "It is astonishing that an FIR (First Information Report) was registered within ten minutes of the incident," he said. "Normally, a crime scene is sealed off for several hours for investigation."
