Arab Finance: The gold prices in Egypt collectively rose on Sunday after the 24-karat gold increased to EGP 5,165.75 per gram for buying and EGP 5,188.5 for selling, according to iSagha's data. The 22-karat gold price climbed to EGP 4,735.25 for purchasing and EGP 4,756.25 per gram for selling. Likewise, the 21-karat gold price rose to EGP 4,520 per gram for buying and EGP 4,540 for selling. The 18-karat gold price hit EGP 3,874.25 per gram for purchasing and EGP 3,891.5 for selling. Sales increased to EGP 5.499 billion in H1 2025 from EGP 3.945 billion in H1 2024, while the earnings per share (EPS) climbed to EGP 3.69 from EGP 0.90. Arab Finance: The consolidated profits after tax attributable to the parent of Emaar Misr for Development fell by 48.80% to EGP 3.914 billion in the first half (H1) of 2025, the financials indicated. The reported profits were compared with EGP 7.646 billion in H1 2024. Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) dropped to EGP 0.67 at the end of June 2025 from EGP 1.64 a year earlier. Meanwhile, revenues climbed to EGP 9.290 billion from EGP 5.608 billion.
