(Video) Korean Actress Yoon Eun-Hye Recreates Her Iconic 'Princess Hours' Character After 20 Years

Longtime K-drama fans would be familiar with 'Princess Hours', a.k.a 'Goong (궁)'. The 2006 drama is considered one of South Korea's most iconic dramas and is still loved by many. Recently, the drama's lead actress, Yoon Eun-hye (윤은혜), revisited her iconic character, prompting many shocked reactions. Yoon Eun-Hye recently shared a video on her YouTube channel where she recreated her look from 'Princess Hours'. In the drama, the actress played the lead role, a feisty teen named Shin Chae Kyung, who ends up engaged to Korea's crown prince. The character was extremely popular amongst the public and started a few trends, including wearing training pants underneath school uniform skirts. It has been nearly 20 years since the drama was released, so many were curious to see how much 'Shin Chae Kyung' has changed. As it turns out, not much has changed because Yoon Eun-Hye looked almost identical to how she did when the drama came out. In addition to wearing the same outfit, the 40-year-old styled her hair to mimic her character and used props to complete the look. Yoon Eun-Hye also shared photos of her recreated look on her Instagram account. Many fans were baffled at how the star didn't seem to age since 'Princess Hours' was first released. Others quipped that she can still play the role despite being almost 20 years older. Some also suggested she recreate another one of her iconic characters – Go Eun Chan from the hit 2007 K-drama, 'Coffee Prince (커피프린스 1호점)'. Surprisingly, Yoon Eun-Hye wasn't the only Korean star who recently recreated their decades-old iconic look. Last week, T-ARA (티아라) member Ham Eun-Jung (함은정) shared a video on her YouTube channel where she recreated her signature bob during T-ARA's 'Bo Beep Bo Beep' promotions in 2009. Despite the 16-year difference, the idol-turned-actress looked the same as she used to. Yoon Eun-Hye and Ham Eun-Jung are proof that some celebrities never age! While we wait for the next Korean star to recreate their iconic looks from years ago, check out Yoon Eun-Hye and Ham Eun-Jung's videos below: Sources: YouTube (1)(2), Instagram (1)(2)

T-ARA's Hyomin's wedding bells to ring in April?

13 Feb - It was reported that T-ARA's Park Hyomin is set to marry her non-showbiz fiance in April. The news was reported first by Sports Kyunghyang, saying that the 35-year-old singer will be saying 'I do' in a private ceremony to be held in Seoul on 6 April. It added, "The groom-to-be is a tall and handsome non-celebrity who works in the finance sector." Close friends reportedly have already received the invitation to the wedding. Meanwhile, on 12 February, Hyomin posted a short message on Instagram Story, writing, "I sincerely thank you for your many blessings and interest. I'm sorry I couldn't answer your personal questions one by one because yesterday was the launch of the brand I've been collaborating with." "I'm surprised to hear this at first, but I'll be back with good news soon," she added. Prior to Hyomin, three T-ARA members have already tied the knot. Park So-yeon married footballer Jo Yu-min in 2022. Park Ji-yeon got married the same year to baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun (though they parted ways in 2024), followed by Areum, who married in 2019, got divorced and remarried in 2023.
