Mumbai: T-Series has issued an official statement after a fraudster impersonating a company representative allegedly duped at least 17 aspiring artists in a fake music video scam. The conman reportedly promised roles in T-Series-backed projects, collecting money under false pretenses. On Wednesday, T-Series took to social media to issue a statement where they acknowledged that they are aware of a scam in which a fraudster pretended to be a representative of their company. The music label clarified that it has no connection with the accused and condemned the misuse of its name. The label further emphasized that all its hiring and collaborations are conducted through verified and official channels only. The statement read, 'We are aware of a scam involving a fraudster impersonating a T-Series representative to deceive aspiring artists. T-series has no connection to the individual. We operate with the highest integrity, and all official collaborations and hiring are done solely through verified official channels and none of our representative demand money for any casting opportunities. The misuse of our name is deeply concerning, and we strongly condemn this misuse of our name.' View this post on Instagram A post shared by T-Series (@ According to the latest reports, the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police has apprehended a man accused of duping multiple aspiring models and performers by offering them fraudulent roles in music videos. The arrest followed a complaint lodged at the Cyber Police Station in Shahdara, exposing a scam that targeted vulnerable individuals through social media. The accused has been identified as 33-year-old Rahul Dev, also known by the alias Siddharath. He hails from Bharat Colony in Old Faridabad, Haryana. Authorities were alerted after Simran Maan, a resident of Vishwas Nagar in Shahdara, reported that she was approached online by individuals claiming to represent T-Series as casting agents. According to Maan's statement, she was told she had been shortlisted for a music video project and was instructed to travel to Mumbai for an audition. To proceed, she was asked to transfer Rs 20,462 for flight booking, with the assurance that the amount would be reimbursed. An FIR was registered on April 11 under Sections 318(4) and 319(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Ajay Devgn, who is gearing up for Raid 2, has started shooting for his next film. The Dhamaal 4 shoot is going on in full swing, and recently, the actor also announced that he has completed the first schedule of the film. Well, now it is being reported that the climax scene will be shot in May, and for that, a grand set is being constructed. Mid-day has reported that Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi will reunite to film an adventurous and comic climax scene. The portal quoted a source saying, 'This stint largely focuses on the climax and some fight scenes, including a car chase and another combat sequence. A massive set depicting mountainous terrain and jungles is being built. In keeping with the light-hearted treatment of Dhamaal, the action sequences will have a comic touch and an aspect of physical comedy." As per the picture, Dhamaal 4 will be helmed by Indra Kumar, who also directed all the previous parts. Backed by T-series in association with Devgn Films, it will feature an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi in the lead roles. A previous report by Pinkvilla suggested that Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene, who were also a part of Total Dhamaal (2019), have also been roped in for the upcoming part. Dhamaal 4 would reportedly feature a fresh new world, following the introduction of the jungle adventure theme in Part 3. 'The basic plot has been locked, and the team is now working on designing the new visuals," a source told the portal. The film is expected to hit the big screens by the end of 2025. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited. Dhamaal, released in 2007, became an instant hit and received a lot of acclaim for its hilarious scenes and storyline. Following the success of the first part, the makers came up with Double Dhamaal in 2011 and Total Dhamaal in 2019.
