Kim delos Santos reveals Dingdong Dantes was cause of past 'tampuhan' with Antoinette Taus
Kim delos Santos revealed that she and Antoinette Taus had some tampuhan before during their "T.G.I.S." days because of a guy: their co-star Dingdong Dantes. The nurse and former child actress guested on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Monday where she made the revelation for the first time. During the "Fast Talk" segment, Kim named Antoinette, who she referred to as Toni, as the actress she had tampuhan with. When prodded by Tito Boy about it, she shared that it was because they both liked Dingdong, whom Antoinette eventually had a relationship with. "Parehas kaming gusto nung time na 'yun siguro kaya lagi kami nagtatalo. Siya 'yung lalaking gusto ko before, [si] Dingdong. Pinagseselosan before. Ay nasabi ko rin! First time kong banggitin 'yun," she shared. According to Kim, they managed to settle the issue since they have all matured. "Oo, tumanda na eh, we're older. Syempre bagets eh, we were teens, so selos dito, selos dun, 'yung mga ganun," she said. Kim also shared during her interview that she got the chance to talk to Dingdong and Polo Ravales earlier. "Sabi ni Polo, 'Dingdong has a new show.' Sabi ko, 'really?' Sabi niya, 'Sabihin mo sali ka' and then Dingdong was asking me if it's okay for me to come here and stuff like that and I said yeah, I can always ask for changing my work to PRN as needed, so it's one of the options that I've been thinking about and Dingdong was like, 'sigurado ka ba?' Kasi namimiss Tito Boy, [acting's] in your blood, it's like you miss it," she said. Kim is back in the Philippines after being away from showbiz for more than 20 years. During her interview with Tito Boy, she mentioned that she returned because she misses acting and wants to try it out again. She added that she would like to do drama and work with the same people she has worked with before. Kim starred as Tere Gonzaga in the '90s coming-of-age series "T.G.I.S." alongside Dingdong, Antoinette, the late Red Sternberg, Angelu De Leon, Bobby Andrews, Rica Peralejo, Dino Guevarra, and more. 'T.G.I.S.' stars hold memorial service for late co-star Red Sternberg
The "T.G.I.S." barkada gathered to honor and remember their late fellow cast member, Red Sternberg. On Instagram, "T.G.I.S." director Mark Reyes shared photos from Red's memorial service, which was held this month. 'The TGIS Barkada hosts a memorial service for [Red Sternberg]. Welcome home Kiko!' Direk Mark wrote, tagging Red and his fellow cast members Angelu De Leon, Bobby Andrews, Michael Flores, Rica Peralejo, and Ciara Sotto. In a separate Instagram post, Angelu shared photos from the gathering, featuring herself, Direk Mark, Bobby, Michael, Ciara, and Rica all dressed in white. She also posted a heartfelt picture with Red's wife Sandy and their three children. 'Hanggang sa muli, Red,' Angelu wrote. Michael also shared a photo carousel from the memorial and wrote: 'Remembering our brother.' Meanwhile, on her Instagram post, Rica wrote a heartfelt tribute message dedicated to Red. 'I never thought we'd meet again this way. Naka-side eye ka pa while I am talking about you, which is so you. Pero Kiko talagang hinintay ko lumabas ka sa likod nyan so you can tell us all 'Surprise! It's a prank!' But you didn't,' Rica wrote. The actress shared her sadness, saying it would have been special to know Red as the husband and father that his family has been remembering and missing so much. 'You have such beautiful and wonderful girls, from Sandy to your daughters. And I got to talk to your boy about Roblox! Ikaw na lang talaga ang kulang,' Rica said. She also acknowledged that some losses in life are beyond understanding. "[W]e can only heal from them. Nevertheless, like what I was saying in the memorial, I am grateful that we got to love you and you got to love us in this lifetime," she said. Red passed away on May 27, just three days before what would have been his 51st birthday. His wife Sandy confirmed that he died due to a heart attack. Michael Flores says Red Sternberg was set to return to PH for 'T.G.I.S.' reunion project
Red Sternberg was planning to return to the Philippines for a highly anticipated 'T.G.I.S.' reunion project, his co-stars revealed. In Friday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,' Michael Flores, Bobby Andrews, and Angelu de Leon honored and remembered the late actor. 'Plano niyang bumalik dito. Plano nga niyang mag-artista ulit eh. Gusto nga niyang mag-artista daw ulit eh,' Michael said. According to Michael, Red even sought advice from him and Bobby on who to approach regarding management for his return to acting. ''Pag naging OK baka mag-stay muna sila dito for a while kung OK 'yung magiging outcome. And then, 'yun nga, mag-ce-celebrate pa kami ng 30 years namin. Anniversary ng 'T.G.I.S.' So talagang sobrang excited siya to the point na nag-workout siya, nag-diet siya,' Michael said. He also revealed that a 'T.G.I.S.' reunion project had already been planned. 'Kaya masakit nga eh. Kasi nga 'yung pag-uwi niya rito, meron talaga kaming pinaplanong reunion project. Hindi pa namin puwedeng sabihin in details pero meron na talaga. Kasi matagal na 'yan eh,' Michael said, acknowledging their fans' constant requests. Bobby added, 'Ayos na lahat ng logistics, lahat ng ano, everything. And that was the reason why he was so excited to come home.' When asked what they realized following Red's passing, Angelu said that 'time is fleeting. And you really don't know what will happen tomorrow.' For Bobby, Red's passing is a 'wake up call,' noting that they're not that young anymore, so they must value the time they have left. Michael remembered that life is indeed not short and nothing is permanent. 'Sabi nga nila, 'di ba, hiram lang naman 'tong buhay natin eh,' he said. 'T.G.I.S' barkada posts tributes for Red Sternberg
The T.G.I.S. barkada took to social media to mourn and grieve one of their own, Red Sternberg, after his death was announced by his wife Sandy Friday afternoon. He was 50. On Instagram, Bobby Andrews posted old snaps with "one of my closest friends in showbiz" and said they stayed close even after he moved abroad. "He was the kind of person who could thrive anywhere, adapt to anything, and still stay true to himself. Generous, loyal, and real," Bobby added, saying "I'll miss his presence, his humor, his heart. Thank you for the friendship brother. Rest easy." Angelu de Leon could not hide her shock and heartbreak at the news, simply posting three broken heart emojis on her Instagram Stories, writing "Kiko," and tagging Red's account. Michael Flores did the same, before reposting a couple other tributes, including Bobby's. Ciara Sotto meanwhile reposted Direk Mark Reyes' announcement of Red's death on her Instagram Stories and added three broken heart emojis, before reposting other tributes. She also posted an old photo with Red and simply said "Love you Kiko." Like Ciara, Rica Peralejo reposted Direk Mark's announcement on her Instagram Stories and said she was "super sad." "Our entire barkada is devastated," Ciara added. Raven Villanueva, Red's ka-love team on T.G.I.S., has yet to post a tribute.
