TGICET-2025 admissions counselling schedule announced
Hyderabad: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially announced the counselling schedule for TGICET-2025 admissions following a meeting held today under the chairmanship of Prof. V. Balakista Reddy. The meeting was attended by key officials, including A. Sridevasena, Commissioner of Technical Education and Convenor of TGICET-2025 Admissions. The first phase of counselling begins with online filing of basic information, payment of the processing fee, and slot booking from August 20 to August 28. Certificate verification for candidates who have booked slots will be conducted from August 22 to August 29, excluding August 27. Candidates can exercise their options from August 25 to August 30, with the final freezing of options scheduled for August 30. Provisional allotment of seats will be announced on or before September 2, followed by tuition fee payment and self-reporting through the website from September 2 to September 5. The final phase of counselling is set to begin on September 8 for candidates who missed the first phase. Certificate verification will be held on September 9, and option entry will be open from September 9 to September 10. Freezing of options will take place on September 10, and seat allotment will be declared on or before September 13. Tuition fee payment and self-reporting will be conducted from September 13 to September 15, with reporting at allotted colleges scheduled for September 15 and 16. Spot admission guidelines for MBA and MCA private unaided colleges will be published on the official website by September 15. A detailed notification with candidate instructions will be available on the same portal from August 18.

90.83% qualify in TG ICET-2025
Hyderabad: Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) and the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) have announced the results for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET–2025), with a total of 90.83 per cent of candidates qualified. The results were announced by TGCHE Chairman, Prof V Balakista Reddy, TGCHE Vice-Chairmen I and II, and Professor Aluvala Ravi, the Convenor of TG ICET-2025, and senior officials on Monday. The online entrance test was conducted, from June 8 to June 9 by MGU, Nalgonda, under the supervision of TSCHE. The test is for admission into MBA and MCA programs for the academic year 2025–26 in the State of Telangana. Out of a total of 71,746 candidates registered, 64,938 appeared for the examination, and 58,985 candidates qualified. This resulted in a total pass percentage of 90.83%. A gender-wise analysis of the results shows that out of the candidates who appeared for the test, 71746 were male, 34412 were female, and one identified as transgender. Of those who qualified, 27,998 were male, 30,986 were female, and one was a transgender person. The minimum qualifying marks for ranking in TG ICET (excluding SC/ST candidates) are 25% of the aggregate marks. However, there are no minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Telangana ICET 2025 results released
The results of the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET-2025) were released in Hyderabad on Monday (July 7, 2025), with 90.83% of candidates clearing the exam. Out of the 71,746 candidates who registered for the test held on June 8 and 9 across Telangana, only 64,938 appeared. Among them, 58,985 have qualified. The ICET is held for admission into MBA and MCA programmes for the academic year 2025-26. The topper of the entrace test this year is Arla Kranthi Kumar from Vijayawada who scored 179.928566 marks while Vangawar Saikrishna from Kamareddy stood second with 155.171621 marks. Kotagiri Koushik from Mahabubabad (third), TVS Krishna Vardhan from Hyderabad (fourth) and Ette Vaishnavi from Jagityal (fifth) were the top five rankers. C Manikanth Reddy (sixth), Pujari Indrasena (seventh), V Srinivas Goud (eighth), Simakurthi Shiva Jyothsna (ninth) and T Arun Kumar (tenth) were the other rankers. Among the qualified candidates, male candidates are 27,998 while female candidates are 30,986 and one transgender candidate . More girls appeared for the test this year and they registered 1% higher pass percentage than boys. The rank cards may be downloaded from the website: ' .
