Per the official logline, 'The Bold and the Beautiful follows the entangled lives, passionate loves and high-stakes dramas of the Forrester, Logan and Spencer families, set against the backdrop of the glamorous Los Angeles fashion world and the family's fashion house, Forrester Creations." The Bold and the Beautiful debuted on March 23, 1987. In honor of this daytime mainstay, here are seven fun factoids about The Bold and the Beautiful you may not know: 1) When The Bold and the Beautiful premiered in 1987 there were 11 network daytime dramas on the air. Days of Our Lives, formerly on NBC, now streams exclusively on Peacock. The other daytime dramas back in 1987 were Ryan's Hope, Loving, All My Children and One Life to Live on ABC; As the World Turns and Guiding Light on CBS; and Another World and Santa Barbara on NBC. 2) The original working title for The Bold and the Beautiful was Rags.
