In the recent episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Smriti Irani delivered a powerful act. The episode revolved around the wedding of Tulsi and Mihir's daughter, Pari, when Viren (Pari's sister-in-law's husband) got arrested for not only a hit-and-run case but also for misleading the police authorities.
Tulsi exposed Viren's truth amid the wedding festivities and slammed him for taking the lives of poor people for granted. 'Kya laga tha tumne, ke kisi begunah par gaadi chadha doge aur choot jaaoge? Koi aur bhuktega tumhare gunhao ki saza? Kya kaha tha tumne 'gareeb paida hota hai marne ke liye'. Aab pata chalega tumhe, desh ka kanoon ameer aur gareeb mein farq nahi karta. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 Sets TRP Record
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 aired earlier this month on Star Plus, and with just a week of its premiere, it has beaten many and taken a mind-blowing start with a TRP of 2.3 in its first week, while the first episode TRP was 2.5. The show defeated the famous Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa in the TRP race.
Recently, Smriti Irani also reacted to KSBKBT's TRP when she told Filmibeat, 'Today's history has been created because there are no shows that can come back after 25 years and still be successful with the same cast, with the same production house, on the same network. So, I think we have managed to recreate history. For us today, we are free from the pressures of revenue or numbers because we have already proven our mark."
